Good Monday night, Thad! (*8*) I haven't had Chinese food in years, but I remember a Chinese buffet restaurant we went to a lot when I was growing up and the fortune cookie was like a dessert for me. 😆 Glad you had a safe train ride and have fun at the game. 🙂

Hi RM! Hope all is fine with you. It's Tuesday...according to Hollywood Squares, the most productive day of the week.

Last night's White Sox-Yankees game was such fun. Sox won, 12-2, with two homers. Who would have bet on that?! My two favorite Chisox, both named Andrew, had good games. (I should let our Andrew know this.)

Oh, the Chinatown restaurant, Golden Bull, was good. I had BBQ pork fried rice, which was fine, but Frank had cumin lamb which was amazing. You don't often see lamb on Chinese menus.

I fly home tomorrow and don't really want to.

It's 80° and sunny at 12:30 pm. Jealous?

Well, it went well at the dentist, and I had no issues with the chair. Sadly my bank card went wrong, but the bank were very helpful, and a new card is due early next week.

I just came back from an art installation! John Jarboe is a local actor and performer who is now transitioning...and recently learned that they had a female twin who John apparently ate in the womb. Huh? But the unborn twin, Rose, inspired the art installation which is interactive and musical and more than a little weird. I haven't met John but our paths have surely crossed as we have mutual acquaintances.

Next Saturday Aug. 24 is Jersey City Pride. I plan a day trip. Then on the 28th I'm flying to New Orleans for Southern Decadence.
