The storm, here in East Yorkshire, has not been too bad. A couple of trees have fallen onto the railway, but no power cuts so far.

Well, firstly, the videos from last night were some music videos, of Irish Folk. I was trying to improve the audio on them. It got a bit complicated, but all was accomplished in the end.

Hi RM! I hope your week is starting well.

I've been doing good things! Saturday was a party at the home of a high school classmate. We reconnected after many many years at a high school music dept. reunion last July, and it was good to see her and other long-ago friends again. I missed them!

Saturday I saw hockey. Utah was in town to play the Flyers. I wore my "Utah Hockey Club" hat and was one of maybe four fans in the crowd of 17,000. Oh, well. Utah won, 4-2. I was happy.

I head to Cleveland Wednesday, to hang out with a good friend. We have tickets for two plays and the North Coast Men's Chirus holiday concert.

It’s been a manic day - I think that Friday the 13th struck a day early! I went to the bank, and it was closed owing to what was later described as a security issue’. Next I spilt some of my lunch from a pan! Then I went to chose a card for a friend, but the shop was empty! As if that was not enough, that pan started steaming, and it set the fire alarm off, and, of course, the fire brigade had to attend to make sure there was no fire.
I am a bit fed up and exhausted. I hope there will be no more Friday the 13th’s for a very, very long time…..;)

Hi from Cleveland! Hope your Friday the 13th was thrilling.

My day was good! We spent the daytime visiting history museums. The Berea Historical Society has a lovely house filled with treasures and artifacts. We then went to the Cleveland History Museum, which has many things you might not expect. Like a working, beautifully restored carousel from an old lakeside amusement park. I loved my ride! And an amazing car collection, with a special exhibition of 60 years of the Ford Mustang.

This evening we saw a musical, "Altar Boyz," about a boy band out to get you right with God. The company was first-rate and the show is light and funny.

Tomorrow is the holiday concert of the North Coast Men's Chorus. I'm sure it will put me in a happy holiday spirit!
