OK, I have to confess. I had a several hour layover in Pittsburgh last night. I went to see the naked go-go boys at Lucky's. It wasn't very crowded and there were five dancers. I overtipped. (Not THAT much...but more than I would regularly do.) Major big dick energy was worth it.

I’m na bit late tonight - I have been railway modelling and researching some local photos and maps concerning our local railway history. A railway evening which has made quite a change for me.

Well, here’s a train pic. It shows a class 31 departing Hull Paragon Station on a freezing cold December day in 1986. Class 31 31448 is departing with a trans Pennine train on the the 14th December, 1986.

Well I have had a good day, and got more chores done. I have been listening to music, in particular Irish Folk this evening. I’ll be going to bed very soon.

So let’s see if I can send you a train pic. It is one of Market Weighton station in May, 1964, with a class 105 Cravens diesel unit entering on a Hull to York service in the mid afternoon.

Hockey tonight...the Golden Knights host the Boston Bruins. I can't wait.

I went to a karaoke last night but did not sing. It was entertaining.

I have checked out the image issues thread, and nothing new as yet. I would contribute a report, but I’m on my iPad only, so cannot do that unfortunately. I don’t use a computer or laptop anymore.

I got to York again today, and bought more carriages. On getting back to my home station, I then walked the short distance back home. On nearly getting home, a few yards in front of me was a guy in his mid fifties. He was definitely drunk! He staggered all over the place and clung to some railings to try and keep upright. If I ever needed to recall why I don’t drink that was it. I can have great times without the drink. ;)

Hi RM! I hope you're enjoying the weekend
I had a very full day today! Went to the No Kings Rally in downtown Las Vegas, but was distracted ..the Las Vegas Book Festival was a block away! So I went to a few sessions, talked to friendly people, met a few authors including a couple gay ones.
Then was the Las Vegas Pride festival. Good crowd, but not real crowded. It was a large space and a new venue for the event. Good entertainment, lots of giveaways, fun.
I'm probably sleeping late Sunday.

Rob, it's good that you could add a couple of carriages to your model train collection. BTW, I noticed that the roof overhangs at the Market Weighton station slope backwards into the walls. I guess that's good for keeping people getting on and off the trains dry, but that would dump all the rain at the ends of the overhangs, as it looks like there are no rain spouts.

There are some sites, online, that do convert images from one format to another, i.e. WEBP to JPG - I noticed what you had to say about being unsure how to convert images in that Hot Topic thread you started.

I’m okay, and got to the cemetery in the morning before some heavy afternoon rain. Then another hot edging session followed in the afternoon. I made good use of the studs you were able to send me last night, and re used some earlier studs too. *|*

It’s most interesting about your comments on the ‘awnings’ as British Railways called them, at Market Weighton station. There are similar ones still in use at Driffield. It’s right that there are not many drainpipes. I don’t think there have been many, if any problems as a result though.
