Guess what Chance it is an election and the candidates are supposed to spend money on their campaigns and their reelection. That is how it currently works. LOL.... you slay me. And it is also WAY too early to read polls BUT if you take a polling agency that has been around and they can compare favor-ability ratings with previous Candidates....well that is a clear comparison of similar moments in time.

Am I gonna have to explain everything from this point on? Is it like cutting food up into bite size pieces before giving you the plate?

He hasn't shot his load... did you miss the part where this still has primary monies involved, Obama wasn't involved in a fight and did not deplete his coffers and will not use general election funds until after the convention. Obama out raised Romney all spring and did not spend a dime. Do you have you calculator out? Romney spent through his teeth because no one on the republican side wanted him and based off current polls they still don't want him. But of course in predicting a victor POLLS are inaccurate until after the debates. A side by side comparison of the same time frame could be valid but that is a big could. It is funny to throw it in Republicans faces and watch ya'll spin for some redemption of your half wit candidate. The big moments will be when Romney sticks all five toes and his foot into his mouth up to the ankle on the second debate, I predict. Then of course the October surprise the DNC has planned for Romney...which will be stunning no doubt. Then his 41% to Obama's 51% will become something like 365 to Obama's 565 and we will have a leader and not a glass of water.

I do find it amusing but very easy to play to that your primary response to any intellectual argument is deriding and insulting various aspects of the character of the person posting. Seems to further the argument most of us have as to whether you really have anything to say at all....

obama's negative blitz is the cause of the poll drops - and the 86% of the coverage which pointed to "gaffes" I'm sure didn't help - but jobs are jobs are jobs - and at the end of the day all of your blather and plouffe's blather and harry reid's diarrhea etc. ...... will only work (no pun) if there's work to be had

today i heard on M.Joe that 160k jobs were created in July - not grand but not bad and much better then 2Q monthlies - is that a good "fact" for u ? but the unemployment rate went to 8.3% (up) - that's bad - no it's good because more people are re-entering the workforce - see there's lots that have stopped trying

That said I doubt even the republicans realized at that point to what degree of divisive the tea Party lead house would go to hurt Americans just to gain power.

So the economy is recovering inspite of republicans. What is telling is that in a recession and then the aftermath Obama's policies have lead the country to perform better than Bush on job creation. That is truly astonishing. Imagine what progressive policy will accomplish when we go on the inevitable upswing.

My POV on Romney's foreign trip is that it was a disaster. The comment extolling the vast benefits of healthcare will bite him in the ass sometime around the debates. The international news will continue to rip his credibility to shreds as they now KNOW they don't like Bush doubled down. His party once they truly sense weakness and loss will walk away from him much more rapidly than any other because a good third think his religion is a hoax and the other substantial third think his conservative credentials are a joke because he is a weather vane on EVERY issue. I tend to agree with them on both counts. Barack Obama is the best conservative option out there and happens to come with a domestic and social policy I could not agree with more.

He wants to cut taxes for the middle class.

He wants to build our desperately needing infrastructure.

He wants to effectively use our military technology and inter connectivity to support Syrian rebels, kill our enemies with drones (no loss of American life even possible), pivoted focus towards what is our next biggest challenge in maintaining sea superiority in the pacific rim, develop alternative fuels with the same focus and COST as the space program landing on the moon (another Democrat in office did that BTW), and most importantly he has moved on multiple fronts to provide the after care required of men and women who return from battle with emotional scares that do not heal but can be mitigated.

He wants to CUT almost 250 thousand Army and Marines from the force structure because they were added for two wars that we are no longer in currently.

He wants ME to have the right to legally marry and benefit from choosing the marry the person I love.

He wants to encourage the sustainable of this country by giving a path to illegals who are contributing to this economy and then setting up a working immigration system.


NONE of those things above can wait any longer and none of the republican ideas begin to touch those goals. All of those reasons and more are why i support him. Now if the republican party can get out of their racist hate rallies long enough to pass some legislation for all of America then we can move forward. The growth WOULD not be as anemic if we would have completed the plan. If anything BHO lacked the ability to beat the fuck out of republicans and make them look ridiculous. He is a very shrewd tactician in politics though and I am sure he has learned his lesson.
