RuPaul's Drag Race Season 3 [merged]

I agree with everyone, loved this episode. Am I the only one who thinks Slava will be casted for next season? He'll probably be the Shangela (inexperienced) of season 4. I know he's European and comfortable with his sexuality but dude was fierce! He looked gorgeous in drag and handsome without it lol. One line from this episode that cracked me up was when Raja and her "sister" Enigma walked out and Michelle Visage said, "Enigma, please!"

Also, this episode made me like Carmen a lot. Yes, she's all body, but at least she's staying true to her character. I youtubed her and watched some of her drag performances she's done prior to the show and she hasn't changed one bit. I wish they bring her back next season.

they should stop bringing previous girls back to the next season. just defeats the purpose of a competition. once youre out, you're out. good drama, but just unnecessary.

cinnamontea, if what you wrote is true, you should get the mods to mark it as a spoiler.

oops!! didnt notice that. my source was correct is saying carmeen will be back 2 weeks before the show...so im not surprise about the spoiler.

this episode was fresh, some predictable stuff, but good anyway.

maybe i'm an impatient peice a fuck, but i'm ready for the reunion episode already.

raja's still my personal favorite. as long as wack ass shangal's gone, i don't care who wins.

That was the most heartbreaking lipsync yet. :(

I'm fucking glad Manila won again! YAY! and congrats to Raja too. :D

I gotta admit...I got a bit teary eyed as well as Yara broke down....she's such a sweetheart and I lover her exuberance. Her money gown was way over embellished and looked like it was suffocating her...and with that hair...yow! Her cocktail dress with the fem fatale persona was also a miss for the challenge...unfortunately, she deserved the "sashay away."

I'll miss Yara...echa pa'lante!

Alexis is an awesome person and drag queen as well...but she doesn't compare to the creativeness, style and flair of Manila and Raja. She knows she's doomed to 3rd place.

Manila definitely deserved the win...all 3 of her looks were spot on. Raja's money dress was really outstanding...it was fashion! Her cocktail outfit though, not good. Michelle cracked me up when she critiqued Raja's cocktail dress: "Two words. Oil. Can."

I honestly would be happy with either Manila or Raja winning. I've been pretty much team Raja all along because she's super creative, edgy, and different; but Manila has really been winning me over. I love her stage presence, quick wit and flirty attitude when the judges critique her. Also...in the swim suit group dance...she was total Vegas show girl with the way she swiveled her hips while walking. She's really a complete drag package, and I'm thinking she may now be the front runner.

It's too close to call...a good competition. ..|

^ Aah alright. :D

That would make sense since they've been walking the runway to that song all season.

I love Manila and if she doesn't win hopefully she won Miss Congeniality.

Manila is too two-faced to win Miss Congeniality. It will probably go to Stacy. And I would rather have Manila win, because she does seem sweet, but she acts a little shady sometimes. I DO NOT WANT RAJA TO WIN. ANYTHING EVER. She is tacky, cusses at the judges, acts like she's a model from 1983 and is way too arrogant and cruel to be the next drag superstar. Sure, she'll probably win, but like Tyra, her attitude sucks and I would never pay to see her shows. EVER. The way she talked down to Stacy was so classless, I just can't support Raja, no matter how much she wants to sugar coat her bad attitude and ugly personality.

Just saw the Untucked Episode for this one and all I can say is that Alexis is so insecure. SHADE!

i love alexis and yara but in the latest untucked episode (money dress), they clearly show that they dont understand fashion....i love manila and raja's money gowns, and alexis and yara has a warped sense of what is fashionable....

aside from aesthetics, they are fun queens on screen

I'm probably late. No, really really late, but I just watched RuPaul's Drag Race Season 1... lol. I guess watching season 2 first spoiled everything for me because I could barely get through season 1 without thinking how much the queens in there were not as good as the later seasons. I still think season 2 had the best cast.

Out of season 3, I'd say my only favorites were Manila and Yara.

I was disappointed in Carmen for doing the same shit again. I really liked Alexis' guy and Manila rocked it too. Manila was lucky to have a guy with charisma and apparently some acting ability.

As far as last week's episode goes, I thought Raja's eleganza look was bad, but her other two looks were okay. Manila did well and I actually liked Yara's money dress. However, I disliked Yara's speech about being broke, even though it was true.

I can respect staying true to yourself but I am also a little disappointed that it feels like bringing someone back was wasted on Carmen. Seriously you knew when why you went home the first time so that should push you to at least change up a little bit. Once she saw the build of her jock she should have known her normal stuff wasn't going to work this week. I would have been happier with someone coming back and proving they deserve the second chance.

I totally agree with this.

I agree with this as well.

I actually loved the girls in season 1 the most. It's not to say I don't have my favorites in this season and last season, but there was less cattiness in the first season, IMO.

I actually don't remember all too much about Season 1  I DO remember Bebe, Nina, Shannell and Rebecca. I remember rooting for Shannell who disliked Rebecca and always seemed to say negative things about her. :gogirl:

I loved Shannell. I wish she'd won, but she didn't always listen to the judges. She had the prettiest eyes.

i actually like raja's dress - i feel that yara and alexis' dress looks so tacky and overdone. there's subtlety in raja's and manila's dresses. speaking form someone in the fashion world, i think their dresses looks "fashion" (to the best of theeir abilities) and the other 2 girls dresses looks "Campy"..not sure if i put the point across well...

i think that's what rupaul needs, someone less campy and more global. if you look at the past 2 winners - bebe and tyra, they both are not campy old-school drag queens. they are "pretty and polished" and VERY feminine. and the final three this season - are all the most femme of the other contestants. but out of the three - raja has some edge. plus, he knows celebrities, and i think ru would want that slightly "high profile" queen to win this time around.

forgot to add, raja and ru know each other for like 20 years... and like my spoiler before, i'm not surprised :)
