RuPaul's Drag Race Season 3 [merged]

Was anyone else disappointing by the "readings" this year. They weren't even funny. However, compare to JuJubee from last year, its hard to follow that. "Was your barbecue canceled? Cause your grill is fucked up!"
 
^Omg..I just watched that! It's gonna be hard to top Jujubee (in anything) but I agree. I think the funniest line was 'Carmen..go jump in the ocean! You won't drown. Silicone floats'. But the rest were meh.
 
Episode was complete and utter bs. Carmen should've been sent home. But with no elimination this week, does that mean double next?
 
This week's episode was so boring. The PSAs were boring, except for maybe Alexis. However I hated her runway look and she was a bitch during Untucked. I was like 'gurl Miss Quinceanera is feeling herself way too much, she ain't even top 3. I loved Manilla's flapper look, I found it bullshit how the other girls tried to make it a big deal that she constantly does something Asian. Get over it. Shangela needs to go, she can't even get her outfits together.

I was definitely disappointed and thought of Jujubee immediately.

I agree about hating Alexis' runway look, but loving her PSA. I liked Manila's runway look, but I think most of them were decent besides Shangela's. I actually disliked Shangela's PSA, but I wasn't surprised that she wasn't in the bottom two.

Raja needs to add some warmth though because she did come off cold and a little awkward during the PSA. I have a feeling it will be personality (Shangela) vs. look (Raja) for final 2.

amen. shangela's so tacky. her tastes in clothes are just questionable and unpolished.

personality alone cannot carry the crown....and even then, her peersonality is not one to write home about

Tyra was bland and she won, so maybe it will go the opposite way this year. I hope not, but who knows?

I'm hoping Raja or Manila win.
 
Is it me or did the whole "Sashay both stay" thing seem quite un-epic? In the current season of Top Chef there was an elimination challenge (the family heritage one) where all the contestants put out amazing food. The judges repeatedly said they couldn't decide who to send home and in the end they didn't send anyone home. Makes sense!

For this week's Drag Race, both Yara and Carmen gave more than enough reasons to go home from their PSA to their Lip Syncs, but in the end Ru kept them both. Why??? (Would've preferred Carmen to go). (!)

This sort decision should have came when Bebe went up against Ongina, where Ru had to excuse herself from judge's panel (probably to weep?) to make her final decision.

Thought I'd hate this season but I love it (although not as much as S2 for Jujube and Raven).

My thoughts? The Heathers? Seriously?! Loved Raja and Manila when the season started but this Heather thing is getting to their heads. I have to disagree with some above, I think Shangela deserves to stay and a part of me wants her to win, I do see her improvement. She may not be the sharpest compared to the others but I'm curious to see her progress.

Oh and a little late by a few episodes but that Manila vs. Delta showdown was crazy, I had to watch the episode a few more times. Loved it. That crazy face Manila makes is getting old though, kind of like an uglier more disturbing version of Jujube's facial expressions (which are cute and funny).

While I disagree with you about Shangela, I'm definitely over the Manila crazy face.

I agree she was bland...but gorgeous. I wish they could find a girl who has both beauty and personality. It's needed for the public appearances, etc.
 
If you guys go to the California Entertainer of the Year...Delta Work was one of the contestants as well. Bet that's why she's prob wasn't so fond of Shangela being on the show.

I would add polish to that list. I thought Juju had beauty and personality, but sometimes she looked a little rough around the edges.
