Just to let you boys know, VH1 normally shows this show as well at 9 p.m. on tuesdays I believe or at some day during the week at 9 p.m. so check your local listings :)

Finale has been aired...winner declared ...and the winner is...

Bebe...booo! I really wanted Nina to win...she was fierce!!!

It really wasn't clear cut who would win...(even though we all knew which one of the three wouldn't ;)) ...anyway, after the final "lip sync for your life" the winner was obvious. I really hope RuPaul has another season of this show...it was good stuff.

I watched the Reunion special.

I love Ongina! She's so fierce and hilarious.

Some of the Queens can't take a fucking criticism. Geez.

I didn't know they had a reunion show available until you mentioned it...so I had t go watch it. You're right about the criticism...especially Shannel. I thought she was fab but man, she really needs constant reassurance or it's meltdown time.

I burst out laughing when RuPaul made the Monica Lewinski joke about the stain on the front of Akasha's blue dress...she really does look like a cheap afternoon hooker!

Bebe has great style and all but has zero personality...Ongina and Nina were both the real stars of the show...

my sister forced me to watch the finale.

the black one (the winner) kind of freaked me out with the weird faces she was making.
There was one that actually looked like a girl.
and one of them looked downright scary.
I have no clue what their names are btw.

I loved Bebe and Nina so I was happy with either of them winning.
Bebe looked amazing in that dress in the finale.

It means exactly what you want it to mean.

It could mean that straight America has become more accepting of gays.
It could mean that straight America is accepting of gays only if they're "stereotypical".
It could mean that straight America likes to cheer for the underdog.
It could mean that straight America watches it to feel superior.

Or it could mean there's nothing else on. :)

I've always favored the multi-pronged assault. So long as we have gays succeeding in quantum physics, aviation, classical music, contruction, sports medicine, and seismology; having a top-rated drag show on cable television is icing on the cake. Every little bit helps. I don't think it will hurt us, becuase the people who want to hurt us won't be deterred by us being all square and quiet.

The ads are all over NY as was already mentioned, but Logo is a premium channel where I live. I think gay exposure is good as it helps desensitize the mainstream, as in the old chant. "We're here. We're queer. Get used to it."
