Russian Invasion of Ukraine

Quite predictable.

However, the Trump Administration's thunderous silence speaks volumes.

What can they say?

They were excluded from the mission, so have no glory to claim.

On the very slight chance the US was advised as the mission began, apparently Trump's pro-Russia dictums are preventing the Pentagon from making public statements applauding our stated ally's brilliant counterstrike. Think about it. We are so far deep into the shit of Trump's perversion that we have now gone three days radio silent, even after the "peace talks 2.0" broke up after just over an hour of no progress.

Trump, despite all this crocodile tears about "crazy" Putin bombing civilians cannot issue a statement, not even from Hegseth, praising the industry and ingenuity of Ukraine hitting their invader's military targets DEEP inside Russia.

We are living in truly Dark Ages.

Disgusting human garbage. Steve Bannon is literally calling for the arrest of a US Senator for travelling to a US ally and discussing proposed sanctions.

Lindsey Graham never met a war he didn't like, but he's right to support Ukraine and Trump is a coward for remaining silent and testing the wind.

Years and years and years will not see us recover in the eyes of the real democracies.

First one down. Lieutenant General Sergei Kobylaš, commander of the Russian Air Force. Accidentally fell out of a window in Mockba.

Kerch Bridge has been hit again, this time by underwater charges at the base of one of the piers. Unfortunately, it has already re-opened, but at least Ukraine has symbolically struck the Crimean occupation again:

I was hoping they had found a way to destroy the fucking thing and so disappointed that this didn't do it.

This needs to be a top priority for Ukraine and its allies.

It will take a brutal missile assault because an under the radar op won't work any more.

And destroying the train tracks for good will be the real win.

The Russian assets frozen in Europe, most of which is controlled by Euroclear in Brussels, is becoming a focal point as the campaign to use those funds to support Ukraine heats up. France has recently supported converting some of them to aid Ukraine's fight.

Meanwhile, Belgium is suggesting investors who have lost money in Russia due to Western assets frozen there in retaliation should be compensated with part of the money.

Ukraine is rightly protesting the grab. War victims should be compensated first for the war before investors who chose to put money in a high risk country like Russia.
