Russian Invasion of Ukraine

wah wah wah

UA hit Belgorod in rrrZZia and naturally now, rrrrZZIa is the victim....

Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Zakharova accused UK in being behind Ukraine in an attack in Belgorod and is calling for meeting of UNSC.... :ROFLMAO:

Ukraine needs to take the bombing to the rrrJJJianz all along the border and inflict equal damage on their cities and people... ideally right into the heart of Mokba.
Czechia refused to play.

For New Year's, RF fired off a record 90 drones into Ukraine; 87 were shot down.

As well there were a small number of missiles fired that apprently hit civilian areas.

And the mass attacks continue:

35/35 Shahed
59/70 Kh101/5
55/55 air launched
10/10 Kh-47M2 Kinzhal
3/3 Kalibr sea launched
?/12 Iskander-M/S-300/S-400 ballistics
?/4 Kh-31P anti-radar

Rzzzia is doing its best to exhaust Ukrainian defense systems in order to force a freeze.

Worth noting:

Remains of a shot down Russian Kh-101 near Kyiv, apparently showed, according to Defense Express, that the missile was produced in the 4th quarter of 2023.

This indicates 2 things...one is that sanctions are not preventing the production of Khinzals...likely because of countries like Austria, India and Armenia...and secondly, that the supply of missiles must be running out if they are being used azs fast as they can be produced.

Reports of a GUR operation at an airfield in RRRooozia that resulted in another SU34 being destroyed by fire.

NATO is convening a meeting at the ambassodorial level to discuss rrrSha's massive offensive against civilians in Ukraine this week.

And traffic on the Kerch bridge is again suspended today because of fears of an attempted UA strike force.

I guess that the Kremlin is fearful that rrrZZia might be getting a present for Orthodox Christmas?

In support of the belief that it is running short on stocks, US officials report that rrrZZZia is planning to buy short-range ballistic missiles from Iran, which would enhance Moscow’s ability to target Ukraine’s infrastructure at a critical moment in the conflict.

The question now is what the west will do about it. Of course, likely nothing. The same way they have done sweet fuck all about the supply of Shahed drones for the last 2 years.

Also begging the question once again...is rrrZZia still considering a nuclear 'accident' at ZNPP?

rrrzzzja has completely limited the access of the IAEA mission to the reactor halls, parts of the turbine halls and the roof of the reactor sections of the Zaporizhzhia NPP, according to
the IAEA report...

One thing is that I think they are using the ZNPP to fire on the right bank of the Dnipro from what I see today.

Well they may not have taken out the Kerch today...but apparently UA hit a high value target in Sevastopol today.

Ukrainian Strategic Staff reports that Ukrainian forces hit the command post of the russian occupation troops near the temporary occupied Sevastopol.

I think this follows strikes at posts in Skavdovsk and Tokmak this week.

This is apparently the base that was targetted and reports are that many ambulances were called for.

Further to this...the US has confirmed that rrrrZZZia is now firing missiles provided by North Korea into Ukraine.

So either rrrZZZia is running out of missiles, or they are banking their high performance missiles for 'special' occasions.

The tally for 2023.

Btw, US intelligence confirms the low quality of the NK missiles fired so far into Ukraine and also speculates that this is a pretty clear indication of a degraded arsenal.

Some OSINT site used to actually have a tally of how many missiles rrrZZia started with and how many it had used/lost, but I haven't seen any definitive source that would tell us what the stock of older, mid range and long range missiles might be.

Also haven't seen what Iran can add into the supply.

Apparently India is reducing how much Russian oil it buying which is a step in the right direction as it cuts into how much money Russia has to continue this invasion:

Apparently oil from Iraq is on par with the cost of oil from Russia and has less hassle for India.

Thank you all for keeping this thread going; I check it fairly regularly and it keeps hope alive when one reads some gains for the Ukrainians and setbacks for the Russians.

Interesting wrap up of the stories that have been hitting the news over the last few months. Thanks for posting it.

No question that sanctions and price caps as well as currency are having a real impact. The question is, is China taking up the slack for rrZZia. Certainly NK is getting oil in exchange for weapons.

In the russian suburbs of moscow, problems with the energy infrastructure began, more than 20 thousand people remained without heat supply according to russian media.

There are photos of apartment stairwells coated with sheets of ice from broken plumbing and some where people can't even use the entrance to their building.

"The entrance is completely frozen... The temperature in the apartments is five degrees. Everyone who could, had already left here, self-evacuated. Those who remained are surviving as best they can - with gas, heat guns,"...Putin's rrrZZia

One of the problems is that a number of the companies that make replacement parts have been taken out of service because of the war. And sanctions are biting.

I am happy to see the Muscovites suffer the same type of fate that they are trying to impose on Ukrainians.

Deputy chairman of Russian Security Council, drunken Dmitriy Medvedev says missile strikes against missile launchers inside Russian Federation, (that are launching missiles against Ukrainian civilians) with western missiles, will be considered as a threat to very existence of Russian Federation, and nuclear weapons could be used.

Medvedev won't be happy until the Kremlin uses one...but when he sobers up again, he will realize that it would be the end of the existence of the RF.

Meanwhile, 5000 troops lost every week.

Passed the 370K mark...and yesterday, UA took down a radar plane and another of the AWACS A50's.
Neither plane is likely replaceable although the crew did manage to land the damaged radar plane.

They're going to hit 400000 before the second anniversary of this.
