Saddest Movie Ever!!

.... and The Perfect Storm....

Strange thing about that movie/story is that no one really knows what happened to them after their radio went out. Its all left up to the interpretataion of the author. For all we know they died quickly and painlessly.

Im guessing no one has seen 'Bent' with Sir Ian Mckellen and Clive Owen?

Dancer In The Dark is the saddest movie I've ever seen. I've seen it 10 times and I still cry every time. Björk gives the most unbelievable performance in the history of cinema...It's horrible that she didn't win the Oscar for Best Actress.

guys you should look for the movie SAD MOVIE....it's a korean movie that is very sad...bout love for a mother, a boyfriend, a sister...etc...it is very sad.... expect to bawl over it....

I have seen Bent.

Saddest movie?

Beaches. I cried almost 6 times out of 8.

I just watched Armageddon and balled my eyes out in the ending lol i know its not the saddest movie of all time but it is sad

Gotta agree with Imitation of Life. It'll wipe you out. Any other films directed by Douglas Sirk will also lead to tears. Also try films by Fassbinder, particularly Fear Eats the Soul and Fox and His Friends. You won't find any sadder gay films than those two.

My fave sad film is So Big starring Jane Wyman. I was about ten the first time I saw it and I couldn't stop crying for hours. It still has the same effect on me.

The saddest movie I've ever seen was actually an anime. It was called Grave of the Fireflies, and it was amazing, but I wanted to kill myself by the end, it was so sad and depressing.

The saddest movie I have ever seen is called "Grave of the Fireflies". Watching it is a truly masochistic affair because you know it's not going to end well, but you just keep watching and ...

The Joy Luck Club...well it kinda have its up and down but most of it was tragic and just depressing...especially if you can relate.

The end of Hush, Hush, Sweet Charloett still makes me cry. has ever since i was like five.

Both versions of Imitation Of Life do it to me every time.
Also the film Its My Party that movie had me in tears so many times. A great movie

I second that. Ellen Burstyn performance was magnificent.

omg wasn't she amazing?? The fate of her character upset me so much :(

The saddest movie I've ever seen would def have to be Dancer in the Dark, starring Bjork and directed by Lars von Trier - a brilliant movie, but akin to emotional manipulation.

This is so lame - but I have never seen The Way We Were without snottin' and weepin'. ( worse still, I must have sat through it over 20 times now and not once have I not needed to be helped from the room by the end ( lol )Two people who should have been together....
