Not sure where exactly to ask this so I'll ask it here. I really want to try sex or at least try giving head to a guy but I'm also a germaphobe. But, i'm also really adventurous in what i'd want to do if I didn't have to worry about such things so... (also, i'd be bottom only).

I've been trying to think of some nearly 100% safe ways to still be quite dirty and I was hoping other people could comment on how safe / practical they think my ideas are and add some of your own if you have any.

First idea, meet someone (would be easier online) and both agree to go to a same day test center before sex for the night (with condom for anal).

Second idea, giving a handjob and licking their balls, ending with them cumming somewhere other than my mouth.

What do you think? That's all I can think of for now but both seem to have incredibly low risk.

OR…

Get to know someone… get to know his history… figure out that he has enough personal responsibility to not infect you with a disease...

first idea seems rather unwieldy to me. unless youre some adonis, i doubt guys will agree to all those complications just for a fuck. besides, hiv only shows 3 months after youve been infected, and the results can take a while; and you dont know whether or not your random stranger has had unprotected sex in the last 3 months, or after you both took the test.

just go about having a hook-up the way everybody does. i guess you could blow each-other with condoms on, although it seems rather idiotic to me, since oral sex without swallowing is very low risk, but i hear some guys do that.

otherwise, go with frot and masturbation.

I don't have any interest in dating someone and it is entirely possible for someone to have something and not know it. Thanks for the lesson in ideals though.

Wasn't suggesting a relationship. Don't you have any friends who are both trustworthy and horny? And tested, of course.

Way safer than with a stranger so you can have fun without the angst.

If you are looking for a 100% safe way to have sex with a stranger, you can forget it. Swallowing cum is probably no greater risk than just taking a dick in your mouth. Even frottage would not be risk free since it is skin to skin contact and could pass on things like herpes.

You may not be ready for dating or a relationship, but you might not be ready to have sex, either.

If you're a germaphobe how about a nice soapy shower with a hot guy, slippin' and slidin,' lickin' and rubbin'?

This isn't a forum for caustic responses to someone's suggestions. I can move this to hot topics if you wish to debate. This forum is no flame and 99.9% of advice here is based on sincere guys letting you know what's worked for them. Take what you like and leave the rest. Thanks.

I'm young and look good, I could easily get someone to agree to that.

And I don't think that could be right about the testing time, or else how would millions of people donate blood without just infecting thousands of people with no safeguard?

As for blowing someone without swallowing, how low is very low? 1/100. 1/1000. 1/10.000?

well, im just telling you what the guys at the clinic tell me, and i go for screenings regularly. i dont know if there are various different ways to screen for hiv, but at my clinic, they always say that the virus only shows 3 months after the infection.

as for how risky blowjobs are: its practically impossible to get exact statistical data on the actual risks, since whenever anybody gets infected with any kind of std, its hard to tell when and how exactly they got infected, because most people dont just perform oral sex, but are sexual in various ways. what ive been told by the aids prevention campains i grew up with is that despite precum, giving oral sex is safe, as long as you dont let them cum in your mouth. but if youre obsessed with the medical side of things... why dont you ask your doctor?

Hylas is absolutely correct that there is a window after exposure to HIV for it to be detected by HIV testing. Follow this link to the cdc and go to the second FAQ regarding exposure and detection times. Not only that but you will not get an immediate result if it is a blood test (more accurate than the oral swab test), which will take about a week to result. No sexual encounter is without risk regardless of whatever precautions are taken.

I suggest you suck him with a condom ( on him). He may or not want you to wear one.

Wear a condom

I think the first thing you should do is get serious professional counselling. Seriously. No joke.

Laying aside the possibilities of stds it would seem that your major problem is this fear of germs. A well washed penis, scrotum, anus or any other part that we may choose to use will still have germs, they are everywhere.
We kind of live in a petri dish know as planet earth, while I practice normal hygiene, I don't worry about a germ getting in to my mouth, heck, they are already there.
You may need some help if you have a phobia, however if you just have a hang up you might try to desensitize yourself, piss and skip washing your hands, it's been done and people have survived, most of our problems are in our head, not in the germs that live on it.
