Sarah Palin Mad at Family Guy

She's so upset over it she's written "I'm pissed off" on the palm of her left hand...

Oh, cry some more, bitches. I wish she and her whole crazy family would just go away.

palin can go fuck herself as far as i'm concerned.

She said it was OK for Rush to go on about "retarded" people because it was "satire."

If Sarah Palin is too fucking stupid to be able to tell that Family Guy is also "satire" then she's probably retarded too.

I'm so fucking sick of that woman.

How original -- another beat-up Sarah Palin thread.

She has a right to her beliefs and you have a right to yours. I guess you have to ask how you'd feel if people made specific derogatory remarks about your young child.

The Kennedy family was upset with Rahm Emmanuel about the use of the "R" word. I think it's just as inappropriate as the "N" word.

I personally like The Family Guy and acknowledge that they pick on everyone.

Except no... she doesn't.

Not her.

She defended making jokes about retarded people when Rush Limbaugh did it and has sacrificed ANY right to her phony indignation now.

She's a pathetic opportunist trying to score cheap points and sell more books.

Because she's a useless turd and a waste of oxygen.

Ms Palin cannot have it both ways. She gives Rush Limbaugh a free pass as "satire" and then gets all huffy about this which is satire (although I don't think it's very funny).

Agreed. ..| Frankly, she dare not grow a pair of tits and stand up to Limbaugh. Why are so many (not all)conservatives so afraid of this guy? Perhaps because they are playing to the same slack-jawed crowd? None of the conservatives I know like either one of these clowns.

I love how that Fox news clip only shows the most horrible pictures of Seth Macfarlane they could find. He looks wasted in both of them... I'm amazed they didn't draw some flames around him...

"Crosses the lines of decency others would avoid" More BS hyperbole, Fox.. Sort of like "Fair and balanced".

Love Family Guy! Hate Sarah Poof why dont you crawl in a hole and die already! Its a free country and people can say what they feel GET OVER IT!

Dude, The Family Guy is on FOX.

LOL, seriously? I wouldn't be surprised since she does write on her hand a lot

Anyway, Family Guy makes fun of everyone. I guess when it's about you, there's nothing but to take it personally. Still, she should just chill out and blow it off instead of making such a big deal.

Dude, The Family Guy is on FOX.
Dude, I'm aware of that.

Fox's entertainment division has surprisingly little to do with Fox's news division, and the conservative artificial reality they've constructed under the guise of "fair and balanced news".

If she wants to have it, we can make fun of it.

Entire prenatal screening processes were designed specifically so that people with good judgment could abort their retarded fetuses instead of inflicting them upon the world.

I actually liked the character-- she was spunky. To me it's a catch-22, one group complains that we don't see people with disabilities on tv, the other group complains when we do.

Bottom line- Family Guy goes in on everyone equally, it's stupid to all-of-a-sudden get outraged on season ?7?, she didn't give two fucks when they made fun of blacks, women, men, whites, or gays.

The show goes everywhere, that's why I love it.

They went after Clinton something awful. And many others.

Though, I can understand people objecting to "special needs" kids being mocked.

But any public figure is fair game, especially on Family Guy.

Dude, The Family Guy is on FOX.
FOX News and FOX are actually under completely different ownership and ideologies, actually. It's how Fox programming can be so liberal wile FOX News is so conservative.

Anyway, yes the episode mocked people with Down Syndrome, but only superficially and in a manner no different than it generally mocks anyone on its show. Palin was only pissed for the "mother is the former governor of Alaska" line, which really isn't much of a "shot" at her or her baby. A girl with Down Syndrome draws parallels between her parents and a real life baby with Down Syndrome? If anything, it's a joke with no punchline...Not to mention that the episode pushed the idea of people with Down Syndrome being fully capable of lucid thought, having individual and genuine personalities, and being just like everyone else in that respect.

Palin has a right to be sensitive about her child's public image, but calling it a "shot" at her child or Bristol claiming that it was "insensitive" is really a commentary based out of nothing but sensitivity to the fact that they have a Down Syndrome relative. The episode didn't say anything about the baby other than make some weird analogy to the character being in the same parental situation.

And, as others have stated, Palin really doesn't have much of a leg to stand on when she can't even cross political lines to press her "oh so dear to her heart" issue of anti-defmamation of mental handicapped individuals. Some of the worst offenders are on her side of the political spectrum, but she can't even be moved to call them out on their shit. How much does she really care about the status and portrayal of mentally handicapped individuals? It seems like her do-nothing, say-anything job at FOX News is higher priority.

I'm embarrassed to once think Sarah Palin was a 'nice breath of fresh air'.

I was so young and naive :(
