In the version I heard of this story, the transgender patron was in some way, shape or for perving out in the bathroom. Which is possible, though I'm sure many of you will immediately write it off as impossible because here's another chance for us to play victim and pound on our keyboards about homophobia.

I'll make up my mind when I hear more facts and less hearsay, but that's just me.

I can imagine what version you heard. What version did you see?

I believe the video posted was either on worldstarhiphop or bossip. It wasn't a newsclip though, it was strictly the camera-phone video of the actual attack.

Now check out this observation of mine, which I'm sure is purely coincidental;

I've watched this same exact story on two websites; one largely black and one largely white. The largely black site insisted the girls only attacked after some level of inappropriate action on the tg woman's behalf. And here, on the largely white site, people insist the white person is innocent. What a strange, random, inexplicable coincidence.

I dunno who's right, I'm just annoyed at being called transphobic simply because I'm not ready to grab a torch and burn these girls at the stake.

You reap what you sew. You can't sew hateful seeds and expect anything beautiful to grow from it, or expect others to show the compassion that you yourself are unflinchingly against. Violence escalates, it's a process, nobody wakes up punching people like that, attacking them repeatedly, it starts somewhere else. It's possible these attackers have been harboring this anger long before this day's events, and the tg woman was an innocent scapegoat for whatever their skeletons are. If this is what anger and animosity leads to then I'd rather not be a part of it, I'd rather hope for the best-case scenario, even if the cynic in me sees them as two hoodrats who aren't going to learn a damn thing from any of this.

That's ok, 8 pages back and the thread I posted was the only thread involved in this incident.

The only other kickback from the search function when the term "McDonald's" was applied pertained to a mass-hiring. The search terms "tranny fight" produced zero results, and the search term "tranny" produced about a billion.

I've dug through your bullshit enough for one night, thank you very much.

For the record, I agree with you. We do not have enough facts. But I'm not going to further complicate this issue by making up stories about the parties involved.
