I went to Tiger Heat last night (with Jockboy, actually) and they played that.

I actually did dance to it. Wonders never cease.

I'm beging to feel that way. There is beging a lead/front man who can enetertain the audience and then there is just plain uber camp. The lead singer this time round just strenghtens stereotype oh look at me I'm the fun fairy lead singer.
 
Jake is HOT. Saw him live a couple of years ago and man did he deliver. He used to be a stripper and sure as hell moves like one. And has the body of one. Yum. I never had a thing for young, slim blondes but suddenly had a change of heart ;)

thank fuck for that. I am so bored with gay men who go out of their way to show how normal they are. It is great that a gay celebrity that celebrates their sexuality and not ashamed of it.
 
can you fucking believe this horrible picture of Jake Shears on the cover of Out magazine? How the fuck do you make someone as beautiful as Jake Shears look grotesque? The photo has Jake's head bent back like it is a crime scene photo of a guy who jumped out of a highrise window.

Somebody needs to put Out Magazine out of its idiot fucking misery.
 
i love i don't feel like dancing i'll definitely be checking out their new album. they're number 1 in the UK charts right now.
 
I love "Take Your Mama". I've been putting that one on repeat in the car. I had no idea that was a gay group.

The Scissor Sisters are great. I say them perform in Montreal at the Spectrum last year and the srowd went absolutely nuts. They are coming back - and I will definately be there.

Funny, I also think the new song is catchy, but it is not their best. Take Your Mama and Filthy Gorgeous are among those better I think. (!)
 
OK, OK... I have now listened to I Don't Feel Like Dancing a couple of more times... and I admit - I'M HOOKED TOO!!!

I'm trying to get a male stripper friend of mine to dance to at at Taboo - Montreal's favourite Twink Club. His first reaction to the song was "Eww, it's Creepy!"
(Hell, he's only 18).

He has promised to give it a couple of more listens though (!)
 
Ta-Dah is a great album...I really like it.I wouldn't say that it's better than the debut, but still a great cd. :)
 
Well, color me 'clueless' (hardly for the first time :rolleyes: )

But, I just realized that it's Elton himself playing keyboards on this
tune, plus he co-wrote it as well.

The CD 'drops' offcially a week from this Tuesday, with a N.American tour
to follow... If they come within 100 miles of us, we'll be there.
 
Elton also co-wrote "Intermission" :)

I really recommend buying the deluxe edition of Ta-Dah...the bonus disc is great! "Making Ladies" is probably their best song ever ;)
