When you see Scissor Sisters' name attached to a song, you can pretty much guarantee that the end result will be something made for dance floors and ass shaking. And sure enough, that's just what we have here on their remix of "Lafaye" by School of Seven Bells. Consider the hard(ish) dreamy sounds of the original to be a thing of the past as the track now pulses and bounces for nearly six minutes. You have to love the use of the vocals, though, which sound completely at home over the stuttering percussion and synths. School of Seven Bells' Ghostory drops Feb. 28.

Scissor Sisters are set to release their new album, Magic Hour, on May 28 in the UK via Polydor. The album features collaborations with Azealia Banks, Diplo, Pharrell Williams, Boys Noize (aka Alex Rihda), Pharrell Williams, and Calvin Harris.

Next single "Only the Horses", co-produced by Harris, is out May 20.

Scissor Sisters have a few shows scheduled in May - two in the UK and one in NYC on May 6 at Bowery Ballroom. Tickets go on sale Friday (4/6) at noon with an AmEx presale starting Wednesday (4/4) at noon.
