Seafood lover. Are you one of them?

Seafood is great... the only thing I hate are shellfish that are cooked whole and served to you... the last thing I want at dinner is the carcass of some unlucky animal staring at me as I eat it.

Seriously allergic to shell fish, hence lobster, shrimps, crabs, oysters and such are out of the question.

Get convulsions and respiratory pipes clog up, yup, it's hospital time. I just always asks if eggsrolls or salads contain seafood.

Cut the lobster then cut the salad with the same knife and you cut me out of breathing. Ya, it's the pits but then nothing else is wrong with me so far!

However, salmon, squid, tuna, seaweed et all are all ok and very much loved.

Don't they give you a perscription for Epi-pens?

Anyway, I really don't like anything that comes from under the water, but I have tried a few fishes(salmon and freshwater whitefish) a few times, and they were very mild.

Shellfish is just gross, but I can eat shrimp from time to time. Again, it all depends on how it is cooked.

Yep, Definately a Sea Food Lover!~ Love it all! Actually I haven't tried one thing that I haven't ended up liking. I haven't tried oysters as of yet. I'm still waiting for someone to take me out and show me how its done. Sure I could by them in the can, but naw, thats just nasty...I like fresh all the way.

I think as for which shellfish I like most, its a throw up between crab and crawfish!

All the meat of the world could no longer be able to be eatin, and I would be a'ok with living off seafood for life!

I love seafood...nothing beats a plateau des fruits de la mer...sitting in a fancy restaurant in Paris with a bottle of Sancerre...

Chilean sea bass has become my favorite meal! Yummers!!

I can't stomach any kind of seafood or fish..

Except for tuna, but that doesnt count, because its called the chicken of the sea.. so.. its really just chicken, right?

Thank you Jessica Simpson.

Eating seaweed flavoured rice crackers, thinking of my Japanese boyfriend.... Yes I love seafood!

1. I was born and brought up on the southern coast of Thailand.

2. My father's company owns the odd trawler or two.

3. Mum is a marine biologist

4. Where I come from, seafood is regarded as a staple and it is not unusual to eat seafood in one form or another twice a day. Sea bass at the local market is about US$0.40 a pound!

5. Am I a seafood lover? You bet I am! The only problem is now that I live in Oz, I cannot afford seafood binges.

I dearly LOVE seafood !

Then again, I was born in Cape Cod, MA. and it's practiaclly
a religion up there.

No one believes me, but when I was a kid, eating shrimp and
scallops and lobster was 'cheap night' at our house.

Mom would line the kitchen table with newspaper, and Dad would
cook up 'a mess' of all of the above, drain it and dump it right
onto the table ! (On the good nights, we could afford melted
butter, if not....Parkay, bay-bee... ;) )

These days, it would cost hundreds, but back in the 70's....

Ahh well... Memories...

yep, give me just about anything from the sea. Oddly I don't care for the most popular of all fishes, tuna - I can't think of any other kind of fish I don't like. (And even with tuna, I don't hate it - I just don't choose it.) I'm not much on oysters, either (especially raw) but that's it. I also sometimes use seaweed in my cooking, usually if I'm making soup. My favorite fishes aren't officially seafood, actually...lake perch and walleye. It gets expensive, but there are a couple fish markets (nowhere near where I live, but two states away) where I will often go in and order 2 pounds of cooked fish (and nothing else) when I'm in the area. Though I work on keeping my weight down, I find that I can "cheat" like this occasionally and not gain.

Even though I think lobster is so overrated, I love seafood especially salmon, tilapia, squid, octopus, etc.

I like most seafood, particularly shellfish.
a firend of mine turned me on tot sushi last year and now I love it

I think that is the greatest thing about living on Cape Cod, all the seafood, and fresh too. I love scallops wrapped in bacon and then grilled, or lightly breaded and broiled. I love shrimp scampi, and lobster on occasion (it is way too rich for me eat to much or too often). I cannot do clams on the half shell or raw oysters unless I have had too much beer. Really not overly fond of eating food that requires no effort to swallow it, which does include boiled okra.

Oh, a little tip. If you are going to buy swordfish and find that you have to hold off for a day to cook it and eat it, completely cover it in mayonaisse. When you grill it the mayo will melt off and the swordfish has been protected from exposure to the air. It is very moist and tastes nearly as good as fresh and the mayo does not flavor it as it does not penetrate the fish and it melts off quickly when you put it on the grill.
