  • Hi Guest - Did you know?

Seafood lover. Are you one of them?

I like most seafoods, but generally fish is not something I enjoy eating.

Here's a list of seafood that is to my liking (not in any special order):

1) Trout
2) Salmon
3) Tilapia
4) Shrimp
5) Crab
6) Lobster
7) Mussels
8) Crawfish
9) Scallops
10) Oysters

I also like pasta-type dishes and soups/stews prepared with that of seafood. I like most seafood to have some wine and/or lemon flavor. And I like it used in appetizer like Stuffed Mushrooms and Crab Cakes. Yes, I dig Red Lobster, but I also like a Ruby Tuesday's creation of Tilapia topped with Shrimp (used to be Crab Cakes) and Alfredo sauce. I like seafood grilled, but when it comes to an item like Salmon, it's best poached.

so far the only seafood that I haven't liked was calamari. That was just gross. Everything else I love.

It is all good as far as I am concerned...Since my degree is in culinary arts, I have the upper hand since I know several ways to prepare fish and other shellfish. I want to thank Pegasus for the mayo and swordfish comment that is way cool! I will have to try it. See, we are never too old or smart, to continue learning!

If you like fish or other seafoods, crack open a book or search the internet (www.allrecipes.com) for some great new ways to cook fish.

I will tell you gents, from experience...you can bag a good man with a good meal! As Martha would say, "It's a good thing..."

When I ate meat and fish I adored seafood. The only seafood I never liked was oysters, cooked or raw. Just nasty and vile, IMO.

I especially loved lobster, shrimp, and scallops.

Hey .... I'm from south Louisiana .... we eat seafoods as soon as we're weaned from mom's teat...lol

I love finfish ... saltwater and freshwater (Bass..Yummm!!) Friends & I will canoe and fish for days....eating fresh caught fish grilled over a campfire....Yummm!!

I love shellfish ... raw oysters RULE....GUMBO rules!!!!

I love sushi....

I even take Omega-3 fish oil daily - healthy, healthy, healthy...

I love most shellfish - shrimp, lobster, crabs even mussels and clams. However, I seem to be allergic to oysters (except when I'm in Australia - go figure). I'm getting to appreciate more finfish but I still prefer meat to fish.

I hate oysters. they remind me of phlegmballs.

I have to agree with you on this one! Don't much care for sushi either. Other than that, I love seafood, scallops being one of my favorites!

hunky, like you i only like some kinds. I like shell fish but not oysters. I'm not a big fan of fish in general, but i like cod. So i like crab, shrimp, lobster, and cod. thats about it.

I had heard that scrod was good, so on a recent trip to Gloucester, Mass I jumped in a cab and asked the driver "Where can I get scrod?" Cabbie turns around, looks at me. "Bud," he says, "I've been asked that many times, many ways. But that's the first time I ever heard it asked for in the pluperfect subjunctive."

for the most part, i'll eat most seafood....salmon in particular i don't turn down

and i can whip up a damn good mussel clam soup too!

though, i won't eat oysters....i find it disgrossting

I love all kinds of seafood! All the talk about oysters, I love them too, as long as they are not too big. A couple of years ago, some friends and I vacationed in Chinoteague, VA (beautiful)> Every afternoon we rented a rowboat with our oyster knives and tabasco sauce. We rowed into the salt marshes looking for oysters. We would open them up, put on a drop of tabasco and eat away. Oyster fritters are delicious, too!

I was in Province town two weeks ago and the seafood and fish were absolutly marvelous darling. Clam chowder, scallops, fresh fish, god I wish I knew how to cook some of these things
