Well you did allude to Fox News' intentional distortions to be not a big deal because left-wing agencies do it too.

If they're both doing it, it's just as serious. We should at least be able to trust News Stations.

Anybody who's read my posts over the years knows that I condemn deceitfulness no matter who or where it comes from. And in a thread about this on CE&P I called it outrgeous. But if I was unclear in this particular thread, I'm sorry.

I agree it's a big deal.

The point I've tried to make here is that it's not a Fox problem or a right wing problem or a Republican problem -- it's a problem also at left-leaning news organizations, and that includes magazines like Time and newspapers like The New York Times and Internet sites.

Deceitfulness is a huge problem in American culture today, from news organizations to banking to both the Bush and Obama administrations to the insurance and drug industries, and on and on, and IMO being outraged about it with only one news organization is more about political bias than outrage over intentional distortions.
