Second Presidential Debate - Discussion

Obama is not answering the question on health care.

He is just hitting his talking points.

I see he attended debate camp.
 
Hair transplants! Was that a shot at Joe Biden?
 
Obama's mother died at age 53 from cancer.

Obama smokes.

That Obama sure is a smart guy.
 
Obama refuses to tell us the amount of his health care fine.
 
McCain doesn't answer the question, he attacks Obama... and says "my friends" twice.

He's got a good point about being sure you can beneficially affect a situation before sending in troops.
 
On a more serious note, I think the VP debate was better. There was definitely more fire and passion in that debate than this one.

Not sure who will win yet, it's a tough call.
 
McCain's actually doing rather well in terms of speaking fluently and thinking on his feet. But formatwise, this debate isn't good for him. His gait and motions make him seem stiff and somewhat feeble (I do realize that he has war injuries). It's not a good contrast to Obama, who's obviously younger and more vigorous. Far from helping him, I think this town-hall debate may be hurting McCain.
