There's no problem with using Seroquel for sleep, just like there's no problem with using certain anti-seizure meds as mood stabilizers.using Seroquel for sleep is an unlicensed use of the drug in the U.S. Its only licensed for the use of treating Schizophrenia and Bi-polar Disorder. Its got some pretty serious side effects. The colleagues I've seen using it unethically prescribe it for insomnia due to the major drowsy effect it has. There are way better drugs out there designed for sleep that are safer and actually meant to be used to treat sleep disorders.
Relax. The dose required for use with insomnia is low. Serious side effects are rare and need to be monitored when people use enough to treat psychosis, 600-800 mg daily.it does seem though that seroquel is a more dangerous option with fairly major side=effects for most. people have died. there is a big lawsuit against it as well. so i do like the suggestion some have made. but my doc has gone on vacation now..is there anyone else to make me this prescription? (in canada, ontario)
Then please tell me why I seroconverted to full-blown type-2 diabetes on 25mg/day?Relax. The dose required for use with insomnia is low. Serious side effects are rare and need to be monitored when people use enough to treat psychosis, 600-800 mg daily.
Lunesta and Ambien can hasten the onset of Alzheimers in predisposed patients. It is also highly addictive.DONT TAKE THAT BAD BOY. Get some Lunesta.
If my experience...ooh...well...my mom took it...before lunesta...and...well...she would still be a tad bit loopy the next day.
