I never really knew you .. just waht you shared with the group . However; I always found your comments to be intelligent, well thought out, and insightful ... even if I might not agree with what you said .( BUT; most of the time I did ) ...

Shep, I wish you the best with the priorities in your life and everything else. JUB can be very addicting. I was just on a 10 day vacation and I made a point to avoid being online. It felt great. I hope someday you can come back to JUB and maintain the proper balance in your life.

I'm happy for you, and depressed for JUBland. Your postings have added some much needed thought & calm to many threads. I hope this isn't "forever cold turkey" & that you will pop in just say 'hi' every now & then. God bless you & yours.

You are a special group of people. I will miss you, for in anticipation, I am grieving already this transition in life. It is tempting to twist some humor into this, but not just now.
