Shepherd 2 appreciation thread

He is worried with two of his friends who got heart problem, so we'll take him when he has time to visit...

I am wondering how our good Shepherd is on this cold day, and how are his friends?

Old Horney is my connection to sanity. I just got back from a two day visit to the city of brotherly love for a night at the theatre, "White Christmas." Fought my way through a winter storm to come home, and then went for a nice ride through the snowy woods with Old Horney and talked about many things. One good thing, is that he does not talk back.

My two friends are doing fair. The older one is recovering nicely from open heart surgery, and I hope will be rehabilitated enough to get home in about a week or ten days. The other is still waiting, and so far he is holding his own waiting for a heart that matches or the mechanical kind to be used so he gets more time if needed.

My life appears simple and smooth by comparison. I do well when I have others to worry about and take care of. Thanks for remembrances.

Still thinking of your friends Shep and envious of your conversations with Old Horney. I always used to keep up a running commentary with my horses; I think it relaxed them. Even if I was cursing them for shying away from a shadow in a hedge.

Shepherd 2: I really like your new avatar--beautiful rondel-painting.

Limenade, :kiss::kiss::kiss:
Thanks for noticing and your kind words. I like the painting, and as one who keeps Epiphany, it is very meaningful to me. I amy change off to another one soon perhaps not so pleasing aesthetically.

My friends are in a good place, the same hospital. One is about to be released to a rehabilatation center prior to going home, and the other is doing surprisingly well at the moment, and that buys time for a transplant if one is available. We are still waiting.

I have been quite busy lately. Friendships are quite important, and especially to those who are in distress.

Stay well all my JUB buddies!

Hi Shepherd 2!

You did change your avatar again--I like this one too, a nice silouette of the 3 magis...(?)

How could I have missed a thread honoring one of Jub's kindest and wisest members...

I apologize for being so remiss...

And join in the adoration...

No Dynk, we only got two and a half inches, and even the birds looked disappointed. Loved the photograph of your driveway! How on earth did you make that smiley in the snow in that picture? I am impressed.

My friends are doing better, one is rehabing from open heart, and the other is waiting for a heart transplant. He is doing better than anyone expected. Another friend went to the doctor because he has been so tired lately. He was disagnosed with stage four Lukemia, and given three weeks to live. I hate losing friends.

My distraction these days is to go on Hot Topics some. There I chanced onto a thread posted by Kevin23, I DID IT!. I commend it to one and all, it is one of the best I have seen in quite a while. It is not what you might think or expect.

Also I have posted a couple of threads there about the murder of six in Arizona, and the perpetrator, Jared Lee Loughner. I also am informing people that I am working with a couple of national figures to find a way to form a new political force or party for the centrist silent majority in our country. It is time to be silent no more and sweep the extremes both Right and Left out of office.

I may be running out of time, and I am ready to get involved, and hopefully I can make a difference that is positive.
