Shepherd 2 appreciation thread

:wave: Good to see you Shep. Hope you are feeling better.

Beware of Lefty, Triple G. I will soon be back in a more low key way. I am still working through the lose of my horse and the possibility of moving yet again. But we may just stay where we are. Uncertainty is not much fun.

Yes sir, MIKE,

His lungs and heart were giving out as well as kidneys were beginning to fail. He was a good age, but of course I was not ready whatever that means. So letting go is going to take time. It is like a part of me died. I was at his side and talking to him when the vet treated him. Most days I spend some time weeping, but gradually I am feeling ready to remember the happy times we had here on the mountain.

Thanks for your thoughts and kind words.

There comes a time with any animal when euthanasia is the last kindness you can show. I've seen a lot of animals put down, some of them my own, and it's never easy, but you at least have the comfort that it was right. And, of course, you have your memories.

Congratulations Dynk on Six Years!

I salute you and wanted to say you and I together are approaching the mark of one half million posts here at JUB. :D:D:D What you have accomplished here has just been remarkable. I hope your health is good and that we both have a better year. I am still grieving the lose of my horse and his twenty-two years with me.

I will be OK, but still I struggle.
Love to you,
Shep+:kiss:(*8*):rolleyes::D
