Hello, hello. We were three days without electricity, cable and ability to flush a toilet, for we had an F 1 tornado about one half mile away. It brought down several of my trees, and created havoc with my perrenial gardens. But we had no structural damage to our house. We are well.

I am glad you are OK. I witnessed a tornado once in my life and it was one time too many. With all our posturing and chest banging, we humans, are nothing compared to Mother Nature!

Now my nineteen month old granddaughter has her battle with a mean virus. She appears to finally be responding well. I am a bit battle weary this spring and early summer. I do also hate to sound like a whiner. Since I do not drink wine, I will not be showing it to any of you. The news in general stinks.

With hope for an improving world, and perhaps a little more good news around me for the journey ahead. I am hopeful.
