Gentlemen,
What a challenging couple of weeks, Hurricanes Irene, Lee and Katia. An earthquake. Several fallen trees aided and abetted by over twenty inches of rain, and the last was a week ago, nearly 13 inches of rain in one twenty-four hour period. We were without electricity for periods of time periodically. I stopped counting at ten.

We are country folks, so we have a well, no city water. Our large bathroom tub sat full of water several times just to flush our commode. Enough already. I am declaring an end to this years hurrican season. I only wish it were that easy.

Good news, we survived without house damage or water inside other than the tub of water we drew. Thanks be to God.
