Should drinking age be lowered to 18

Well, it already is 18 here (UK), and I think that's a good thing, 'cause, most 18 year olds already do drink, especially if they go to uni.

I think that if they lower it then drunk driving should seriously be discussed in school.

I mean I've been a student in the US and underage people were getting shifaced anyway...

They just getting drunk coz "it's cool" or coz "it's forbidden" "illegal"

But some of you guys crack me up. Thinking that there isn't a mass of drunks all over the globe, and especially in Europe with lower drinking ages. There are plenty of stumble drunks who are 17 on up in Europe. Check out Wacken concert this summer in northern Germany. Wow its a colossal cluster fuck of non-stop drinking by thousands of the rowdiest hard drinking Europeans from every Country. Its a big barf hangover fest and its a hell of a good time!

I was able to get into bars at 16 years aold, back when the legal age was 18..

I started sneaking booze out of my parent's liquor cabinent at 13. My older sister got the blame. I didn't feel guilty since I knew she smoked weed and never told.

yeah the drinking age should be reduced to 18 in the US. they're adults, pay taxes, etc . . .one deserves a cocktail or glass or red, whatever tickles one's fancy.
