My doctor’s assistant isn’t in the room but the doctor wears Google glasses and they watch along. It only bothered me the first time that the doctor asked permission to wear them.

That I don’t know. It’s supposed to be so the doctor can spend more time with you and less time on record keeping. I haven’t seen a difference before and after they started the program because the doctor still spends as much time on the computer that he used to do. It’s a Cleveland Clinic practice that they implemented.

My Doc's assistant nurse will sometimes do a prelim workup and sometimes not...he just does it.

He never has her in while examining...but when I had to pop into the after hours clinic while he was away because of a varicocele on my left nut...the (very hot) doc had a nurse stand in the room behind me while he conducted a feel around of my nuts.

For my reg family doc, we just drop trou when he needs to see or feel around...I usually don't even bother with gowning or draping. I am there because I have a problem...not because I am looking for a reach around.

Most recently has been a post covid issue last week.

And it does nothing for me. I find most of them utterly unappealing. I find it all clinical and dull.
