Have I ever told you what happened when I went to a nude beach with a butt plug in and accidentally killed a seagull?

Nevermind. Sorry birdie. :(

Now I understand what you meant when I asked how it was going and you said you were "plugging away at it"...

Sometimes, now, I'll "have a fall" - whereas I used to just fall over.
Then there's that day when your doctor interprets your test results - with that disclaimer "it's not bad, for your age"

Bet it caused a big flap.
Damg, you were able to at least get to the beach, hell I cant even make it from the bedroom to the garage without it sliding out and cant find a jockstrap or harness strong enough to keep it in; lol

I'm 33, which is not old, yet I feel that middle age transition is slowly beginning lol.

For me it's been, I use and ingest more than I used to for general health and appearance. Prior to my 30s I didn't do shit, but now I'm daily facial sunscreen, hair gel to style over some hair recession, minoxidil to try and halt said recession. Started on multi-vitamins and red yeast rice tablets. All this shit takes me like 5 mins tops, so I'm not too obsessive, but still. Considering most of my adult life I didn't use or take really anything .

How much newer music you know is also a big one (although, half of the songs I love are from before I was born lol) The last decade I could fill up an hour-long playlist of songs I really enjoy without huge effort of looking was the 2010s, which was mostly my 20s, I think that checks out. Some late 10s-present stuff hasn't been terrible for me, but it also sounds 'not made for me' anymore. Chappell Roan seems decent from recent/current times, but then, her sound is very 80s-revival and that's also nothing new.

The slight fear that if I'm going to get into my best shape possible, I need to do it ASAP now because the age-point it starts to get harder is going to kick in sooner rather than later etc.

Relax. You're right on time to change your lifestyle. Eat less, sleep more. Exercise a little bit and you'll be fine.

It might be time to reconsider the multi-vitamin. Recent studies (notably National Cancer Institute and National Institutes of Health in the US) suggest there is no benefit, and possibly a tiny increase in mortality, in healthy adults taking a multivitamin. Just eat a reasonably balanced diet, and you will get all the vitamins you need. The role of vitamins in a daily diet is widely misunderstood. More is not better, as they serve as catalysts to metabolic processes, and when a sufficient amount is available, the extra does no good.
