This is the current tactic of the conservative party. Distort lie and manipulate. Facts will not dictate their policy of destroying Obama even if they have to take America with them. They have obstructed and caused instability in our markets since they took the house in 2010. This snippet from the article above encapsulates the difficult thing to swallow for a true conservative that isn't wearing blinders.

One of the weirder aspects of this for me is watching this unfold in the politically conservative culture of my evangelical world. The most partisan evangelical conservatives are also those most likely to rant against “relativism” and to trumpet their status as defenders of “absolute truth.” Those same folks will dismiss this post — and all 30 of Benen’s posts above — as mere partisan attacks without ever bothering to examine the 533 factual instances of Mitt’s mendacity, chronicled.
That’s the only cognitive defense they have, I guess. Jam fingers in ears and shout la-la-la-you’re-being-partisan!

Sound familiar? It is part and parcel of any defense thread on this forum. If you are supporting Obama then you are an undying zombie of your chosen one. EVERY member of the conservative identified posters on this forum uses that as a basis of attack. All though really it is simply name calling and obfuscation of the issue at hand.

Yet to be fair the right has accused Obama of lying and he has of course. I couldnt find quite the level of explanation but this right wing link provides the quote and just says they are wrong so you can decide.

Now the Obama lies are less professional because of the entire right wing media empire NONE of them wanna actually put their name and time into thoroughly fact checking I would assume. Yet there is no doubt Obama has told half truths and all out lies. Yet more often than not I see multiple posters provide factual responses to counter those arguments. Typically i do not see the wrote response of your a Romney boot kisser.

Now I think it goes without saying politicians lie. They manipulate statistics, only tell half the story and typically leave out mistakes they themselves made.

However does anyone over 40 remember a time when a politician so publicly and without apology changed himself day in and day out to meet the needs of his audience as Romney does? How about people following so blindly after such blatant lies with their fingers crossed and their ears closed. Ever seen that in America?

It is truly disturbing. I know the typical responses I will get from the typical players. BUT who is telling the most egregious lies?

It does add up. I think one debate in the period of an hour, he lied once every minute lol. Should be some kind of record. Guinness book of records should investigate this.

Factcheck and Polifact are on my daily read list so my conclusion is both. But it if fairly clear that the Republicans are in the lead on the lies and distortions total percentage. I'd say at a guess it breaks down 2/3rds to 3/4ths to the Republicans over Democrats currently.

Like I said feel free to provide the news source that shows Republicans outlining Obama lies and you will fall short. Perhaps it is an innate inability to write and be critical without using lies and scary videos but republicans dont seem to be documenting it well.

OH BY THE WAY the religious blog is simply using the documented lies of Romney by a news source, if you comprehended the article then you would understand that and as the article says you can split hairs over some of the lie not being accurate representations BUT you will not clear all of them. Maybe half... that still leaves a ground breaking 260 some odd lies .... but again this is a discussion feel free to negate any of the reported lies.

Since you ask, I believe you are both a double standard bearer when it comes to the truth and a hypocrite when it comes to assessing the Obama white house. But again as I pointed out to chance this is about Romney and Obama lies not Jack Springer or JayHawk so please feel free to stick with the topic and that topic is not you or me.
