I can't stand Paris. Many of relatives who have paid a visit to Paris, came back horrified. They all recounted on how fucking rude the Parisians were. City of love, my arse. So I chose London, though I think, London itself is a little bit "crampy".

Singapore

I loved Paris, and parisians where the nicest people on earth, far better than the overrated Romans.

Btw, in Singapore they execute foreigners for drug trafficking

Execute or not, drug trafficking is a crime. So just dont drug traffick. Don't commit crimes and you won't see the noose. Simple. If you commit a crime, then you are dumb. The world needs less dumb people.

Death penalty for drug traficking, what are we in the Middle Ages, please...

Btw, I don´t even do drugs, let alone traffick them, but I would rather stay clear from such places.

Both cities were great, however I found Londoners to be far ruder than the Parisians, but even they were pretty friendly most of the time. As long as you werent the ugly American stereotype, the French are great. Anytime I needed help, I introduced myself in French, and asked if they spoke english. They appreciated the effort to speak the language and were more than happy to help. Parisians get just as bad a rap as New Yorkers and its undeservedly so.

And yea, I gotta agree that Death as a penalty for anything pertaining to drugs is rediculous.

Londoners are very rude. Parisians are only rude with North American people, with Latin Americans, they are very nice

Not necessarilly. the French are rude to anyone that doesn't speak French or don't speak it in perfect Parisian French. They are rude to French-Canadians too. I've seen it.
Londoners have never been rude to me and I have been there ALOT.

Well my case it´s exactly the opposite, Parisians were perfect and courteous, with me and all my family and friends who have visited there. London, and Rome, on the other hand... not so much

But, then again I have french heritage... so maybe I´m biased

Yes. Never visit Singapore if you plan to DRUG TRAFFICK!

In fact go to Guatemala or Spain or whatever. People there are so caught up with human rights that we focus too much on the punishment and forget that they need to seek the root of the crime and destory it. Go there and drug traffick.

I have never even tried drugs.

But still I find the capital punishment for drug trafficking so shocking. I guess we have very different ways of seeing things.

I don't get it...It's weird, when I and my friends went, it was tough getting around on broken French. So we then switched to English. That made it worse. In the end I just said "fuck it" and started speaking Spanish. I found I got around much better speaking Spanish than English or bad French. lol

Maybe because Spain is next to France. So they extend their brotherly arm to their Spanish speaking friends. You know, the whole EU thing.

I don´t think that´s the reason, they are nice with Latin Americans, with Spanish people they seem to be rude.
