Soccer World Cup 2010

We had a better party then they had in Spain with that stupid bustour!!

Watch the Dutch go crazy in Amsterdam!!!

Word

That stupid truck was so below for the World Champions.

And it's nice that the Dutch people received their team as a heroes (2nd place is nothing to sneeze at).

Now that Spain has won one, I'm rooting for the Dutch (or some other team WHO HAS NOT WON BEFORE).

PS: Of all the girls in there, the NOT HOT one was the one who had to show his boobies

Can't believe how they dare blaming the ref, when they should've had two players sent off the first half!

Then at the end it was equally bad for the two of them

Sore losers.

And what hypocrisy considering that they went to the finals with an off side goal.

Uruguayans are cheaters tho.

Yeah, World Cup Withdrawal Syndrome.

Fortunately here in U.S. we're in the middle of the MLS season, so we've got something to watch.

That sounds like fun! (the matches, that is)

I wanna be Gerard Piqué. :p

Step back bitch, he's mine :jasun:

Uruguayans are cheaters tho.

Oh please, don't get me started on this one again!

1. Suarez is different to Uruguayans as a whole, so don't call a whole team that

2. In that match, Ghana made many more fouls than Uruguay, many of them violent injuring our captain and fracturing one of our sub players (who kept on playing). Besides, in most (if not all) matches, Uruguay had less fouls committed than its rivals, and only saw two red cards in 7 games, the handball, and one for second yellow card.

3. The free kick leading to the handball was invented by the ref, plus the header was in off-side. So that hand-ball shouldn't have existed

4. Ghanaiens are bad losers if they're still whining. They had a penalty, they missed it. End of story.

5. The same situation happened in Ghana-Australia. Kewell was sent off, Ghana scored the penalty, everybody forgot about it

6. I have a different concept of cheating in football. Cheating is having a dose of drugs to perform better, cheating is doing something with the sole intention of not being seen by the ref (e.g., Maradona's hand of God). Cheating is fouling a rival's key player in order to injure him to have him out of the game. This was harmless, and was done knowing what the consecuences were, it's like a chess move. OK, I'll get a red card, and a last-minute penatly against, but I'm preventing a goal, and I'm not killing anybody... what would you do? If any player chooses receiving the goal, I'm sorry, but that player has no passion for football nor his team.

7. There are dozens of tactical fouls committed in football, especially when a rival gets a fast counter-attack, you foul him without violence in the mid-field to stop him and re-organize your defense. This is done by EVERY team. Then, are every team cheaters for fouling on purpose? No, it's tactics.

Maybe I won't convince the whole world on this one, but as a Spanish reporter said (Spanish, not Uruguayan): "People who criticize Suarez, either have never played football, or are Ganhaians."

Ps. Sorry, I just read that you mentioned the Netherlands goal in the semi-finals... Then, where we cheated against at the same time by the refs?

I think you mean you are shallow. Pique seems to be the type of guy who cares more about the person than what his shell happens to look like.

Anyway, Fabregas is way cuter and probably a bottom.

But I don't know Ibramovic personally so I can't judge him on the personality side and I have to be shallow (not Paris Hilton kind of shallow, but shallow). Maybe you're right and Pique chose him for that reason, and that'd make Pique even cuter!!

Agree about Fabregas, much cuter! There's a video on youtube of him kissing a male reporter, emulating what Casillas did. Can't post it now, I'll post it later

Woah! Breathe, Fed, breathe.

Unfortunately you'll be saying this to everyone you meet (except Uruguayans) for ever, because unfortunately this is what people will remember about WC2010.

Zidane will never live down that headbutt. Maradona will never be allowed to forget the Hand of God. Gyan and Baggio will always be those guys who missed crucial penalties during the World Cup. And, sorry for him, Suarez will always be that guy who did the handball in the 119th minute.

LOL! I know, I know. Don't worry, I took my pill now and I'm more relaxed :p
And we'll remember Suarez for the handball for ever too, and what's more, we cheered him for what he did, more than for the 3 goals he scored. That's not the point anyway, of course he has to be remembered for ever for that epic action, the point is that I don't consider it as cheating, or unfair, or like a Ghanaien friend said to me, "Ghana was the rightful semi-finalist" So I was trying to defend his reputation, just in case Suarez happens to read these lines

You can tell I'm suffering World Cup withdrawal for my long replies. Maybe there's too much free time over here

Parles castellà, català o valencià? Si no, necessitaràs traductor.... :p ... ;)

I don't speak catalan, but I can tell he was talking about football, not about belonging to any of the boys here. Maybe he's not yours Jake nor PiqueChampion's after all.... sorry!

My last word (ok smart ass in the back...I heard you mutter thank god) is

very simple. WC 2010 hooked me more as I learned the intricacies and

strategies of the International rules.

The other thing I learned was that my mama lied....big time lie when she

taught me...Cheaters Never Prosper.
