Songs That Shoulda Been Massive Hits

I just watched the confessions concert and i cannot see how "Hung Up" and "Sorry" were not MASSIVE hits those songs are incredible.

I cant even choose between them they are both damn good and should have been huge hits, but radio didnt respond and that sucks.

"Try It On My Own" Whitney Houston

"Not A Girl, Not Yet A Woman" Britney Spears

It's kind of weird because most of the song that you think should have been hits, actually were massive hits in Europe (at least in the part of Europe where I am): Scandalous, S.O.S., We belong together, Dirrty, each and every britney's single... they all get to the top 10. only jump failed this time! :)

Don't Change - Music Soulchild

It did well on R&B stations, but I think it had mainstream appeaL

There are a ton more, but I'm having a mental block right now, LoL...

Michael Jackson - Speechless, but it was never released as a single.

Maybe Janet's "Enjoy" will be the hit she's been waiting for. Love that song.[/quote]

At least we hope...I think 20 Y.O. is done unfortunately

for me right now it's scandalous by mis-teeq...for some reason i'm obsessed with it right now and was surprised to learn it wasn't a big hit. and if anyone knows the name of the dancer in the vid, i owe u sexual favors. the boy is a sex machine...

tho it's a great dance song, maybe the lyrics "you n*****s should be scared of us" was the reason for the lack of radio play, lol. weird to have such gangsta lyrics in the middle of such an upbeat dance song.

agreed the song was sick and it should have been a huge hit especially over here in the States. I still love the song til this day, the beat, the lyrics and all that. It shouldnt have mattered about that certain line though considering what gets played here on the radio. :gogirl:

In some news Aleesha Dixon from Mis-teeq has a cd out. I forget the name but its available over at amazon.
