This show is pretty good and I like their spin on the story....Spartacus has the viewer by the heart-strings because we understand the only reason he refuses to give-up is "hope"...That's all he has left..

Spartacus is "hoping" to see his wife again...I believe she's already dead...In the last few episodes we've seen her in his Dreams and in "visions" but that's it...

Perhaps they decided not to tell her story as a captured "slave" and we will see her "alive" in upcoming episodes...But I think poor Spartacus is in for a terrible discovery...

They actors are not of Latino descent. They are Maori the indigenous people of New Zealand. That is where Spartacus is filmed.

That's very interesting. I couldn't quite decode their ethnicity.
 
the show is cheesey, I'll still watch but some of the props look so fake. I guess Starz dosent have the cash to have it look realistic like HBO'S Rome.
 
^^^I was surprised STARZ would even tackle it..You know the budget is limited...The main selling point for the Drama is Good looking Faces, Built-bodies, Tits, Dudes showing their Dicks and Bubble Butts and Group Fucking...

I feel they chose the right guy to play the Lead..So far he's carrying the show like he should..

i agree. I have been watching and the show is pretty cheesy but the guys are hot and all the skin is nice.
 
One thing that bothers me is I thought Spartacus was suppose to be one of the best fighters of his time, but it seems like he is always getting his ass beat every week.

If the written record, and graffiti in the gymnasium is any indication, then yes they did. However, there are have been a few that argued (rather stupidly) that open homosexuality was all a conspiracy to slander the Greeks (ahem... VOLTAIRE!).

Something tells me Barca is gonna be dead soon. And that spells the end of the gay gladiator couple. These shows have to kill off somebody. And now that theyve lured the gays in with the naked male bodies and gay undertones, it's time to axe the gay regular.

^^^ - I couldn't believe that. Batiatus had Spartacus' wife killed. Damn he is cold blooded. First he kills that entire family and their slaves, then Barca, and now the wife of Spartacus.

I think that this next episode is the last episode of the season, correct?

This show started off kinda of slow, but its gotten better every week and Sparts is so fucken fine. I didnt know Batiatus wife is Lucy Lawless she looks different now
 
I liked the sympathy and protectiveness Pietros got from everyone this episode... But I KNEW how it would all end... Not happy about that... :(
