Spartacus: Blood and Sand

The finale was insane and totally not expected. I can't wait to see what's going to go down next season.

Rumor has it with season two put on hold so Andy(Spartacus) can go under cancer treatments a prequel maybe in the works to keep the fans interest. I guess Crixus would take the lead with bff Barca.

The did start off really slow and didnt really like I thought was super cheesy, but Sparts was so fine I gave it a try and the storyline started getting better every week until I loved it. :D
 
Finally watched the Season finale yesterday...That episode was right on time...I Loved how Sparts slave-girlfriend said she wanted him inside of her...She finally got what she wanted...


Season 2 can't come soon enough...

So I've now watched the entire first season on the internet and I just don't get what the big deal is.

It's really beautiful visually...and hotties in speedos, hell yeah. But besides that the story was bleh. The dialogue was horrible. And what was with half of it being in slow motion? I enjoy it as much as everyone else, but it was like every five minutes.
 
^^^Sex sells regardless but any show or movie about Roman & Greek mythology will draw a HUGE Male following...

So sad how someone who looked so healthy just a year ago is now dead from cancer.
 
Very sad news...My prayers to his Family and friends.......I remember reading about Andy's battle when Starz aired "Gods of the Arena"....

Season 3 airs early 2012 and they cast an Andy look-a-like...

^^^I think it depends on the stage you're in and the part of the body the Cancer is attacking...

My Dad is a Stomach Cancer survivor and he's been a Body-builder since he was a teen. I think his healthy life-style helped before & after the discovery & surgery...

I still believe STRESS was a major factor in my Dad developing Cancer. No matter how healthy you're living if you're over-stressed you can cause your immune system to fail and you end up dying...
 
Sad thing about cancer is that it can strike and kill anyone.
 
Very, Very sad news. My heart breaks for his family and friends. I remember first seeing him on McLeods Daughters. He had real presence on screen. He would've given Hugh a run for his money when he had moved on from the hit series he starred in and made his own. Gone to soon.
