'Star Wars: The Force Awakens' Is Finally Out Of Theaters After Earning A Record-Breaking Amount Of Money


It seems like it was released a lifetime ago, but Star Wars: The Force Awakens isn’t even seven months old. Episode VII came out on December 18, 2015, and was greeted rapturous reviews that washed away the sins of the toxic prequels. It also broke numerous box office records, including 3D, IMAX, worldwide opening, Christmas day, fastest to $100 million, fastest to $150 million, fastest to $200 million, all the way up to fastest to $500 million. The Force Awakens is the highest grosser for all of ’em — including, most impressively, all-time domestic box office, with a staggering $936 million (that’s $176 million more than second place Avatar) — but all good things must come to an end. After 168 days, Episode VII has finally left theaters.

I wanted a good looking lead male character and didn't get one. Again, disappointed but that didn't mean the actors were bad, they did fine. I just like a little guycandy.

I thought Poe Demaron was pretty cute. There was rumour going around that he may play for the boys team... I doubt it though. The homophobic Star Wars fanatics would detonate like the death star.
 
^Well mennist hated Rey and detonated but that didn't affect the movie one bit.

Does anyone know of any good gay Star Wars podcasts or Facebook groups? I feel like Star Wars is becoming more LGBT friendly what with more cool women characters, nuance about dissapointing your parents, cool action and alien races and of course the sheer coolness of Hamill and Fisher especially
 
I haven't watched any of the new Star Wars films. I do hope they are enjoyable. My Mom who is her eighties likes R2D2 and C3PO the best out of all the characters.
