Straight Boy Scout Leaders in Action

I thought that the Boy Scouts would be more selective in choosing their leaders. These guys are fat! These guys are stupid!
Very fat and very stupid! I never would have imagined that the criteria would be so minimal that fat idiots like these would end up in positions of authority anyplace, let alone the Boy Scouts.

I see a couple of predictable posters came in this thread guns a-blaze to defend the oppressed straights from the gay meanies. Classic JUB.

Or maybe I decided that not every story is us vs them. Another classic thing on JUB - deference instead of intellect.

This is something I noticed while working with Scouts: being in Boy Scouts is practically a requirement for all Mormon boys. Because of that, they often had to scrounge for leaders.

The vandals received one year probation and fines rather than jail time.

Although an exact restitution figure has yet to be determined, they could fork over thousands in fines — money that would go toward putting warning signs in the state park, The Tribune reported.

They also must pay $925 in court fees and split a $1,500 investigative cost after engineers had to assess damages to the 2,000-pound sandstone formation, also known as a hoodoo.

Nature would have done it in another decade or so.
Maybe yes, maybe no...but "Mother Nature" DOES her landscaping continuously, using the three W's (water, wind, and weather) as her tools.

Consider that "The Old Man In the Mountain" in eastern New Hampshire, not far from Mt. Washington, is no more. Part of "his" profile face collapsed 10 or 15 years ago, by cumulative acts of weather(ing) alone. I feel fortunate that I was able to see that "profile formation" before the opportunity ended forever.
