In truth the FIRST and ONLY time I've ever been to a Subway was actually in America (despite them having outlets all over the U.K.)

In general I tend to get either a B.L.T. or a Chicken Mayo or a Steak & Onion (if they do those)

EDIT: Of late I've also taken to Mozzarella Tomato & Pesto.

(Do they have Pret-a-Manger in the U.S./Canada?)

I next-to-never go to Subway. Oddly, there are a ton of other sandwich shops near me, and I prefer most of them to Subway. I've been going to Which Wich a lot recently.

My favorite? Roast beef, extra onions, tomatoes, lettuce. Maybe cheese. No spread.

It's because you're bi and this sandwich embodies you. The smell of the puskett (tuna) with the idea of a penis (banana pepper), and I bet you just love it on that foot long bun. ​

The tuna, cold.

To be honest though, none of them are really anything amazing. The meat is just frozen, packaged meat that's thawed out. I go there for the good deals and cus it's cheap. Not for the food.


I think Jimmy Johns, Quiznos, Jersey Mikes, Potbelly's and most other sub places are better than Subway.

That's very creative, I enjoyed it. Only one problem...I'm not even a little bit bi.

I try to go only during times of desperation. But I do love the place. During 5$ footlong months I get a steak and cheese on italian herbs and cheese with cheddar, lettuce, pickles, tomatoes, onion, banana pepper, green pepper and chipotle southwest.

On any other month, I go for Sweet onion chicken teriyaki with the same veggies and sauce. Yummmmm

Sorry. It ALL tastes like shoe leather between styrofoam. I honestly can't believe they are so successful.

(Yes, I've tasted shoe leather. And styrofoam. There is little, if any difference. I rest my case.)

I have not eaten there for years.. but I always went for the tuna... always skipped the tasteless cheese (no taste and just added fat) just asked for the low-fat mayo and some tomato and green peppers and some lettuce..
That's it.
There are many great delis in my area that serve totally wonderful sandwiches.
But I did hit Subway sometimes when I was on my lunch break cause it was close to work.

I stopped eating there. A gay couple in my hometown were discriminated against on the basis of their sexuality by their manager. They took it to the franchisee but he supported the manager and made discriminatory remarks to them as well. The last I heard, it's all the way up to Subway Corporate but nothing has been done about it.

If that's how the corporate office allows business to be conducted, I won't eat there.

I eat there now and then. Not on my top 5 choices. But when I DO go I get the Meatball and Pepperoni 6 inch sub. With Provolone Cheese, and double baked/toasted. Yum. It use to be just the meatball sub, but one day I impulsively decided to get the upgrade, to the M and P. Never went back to just meatball......
