Survivor 25: Philippines

Australian was one of my fav seasons and yes I liked Colby and wanted him to win. I found him so easy on the eyes and not a sob like Keith. But that one thing that Tina did that impressed me was after the wash out when she swam in raging water to retrieve that barrel of food. That was awesome.

I still think Colby looks great although that gun show he is on makes me cringe for it seems all the contestants are backwoods gun nut cases.

I'm fairly sure that I hated Colby back in the day but over the years, as a Jerri enthusiast, I've come to appreciate Colby more due to their epic three-season rivalry (and I hate that Heroes vs. Villains kind of glossed over their reconciliation). I also find it interesting that Colby's become a worse and worse player with each time he's returned but Jerri's actually become a smarter and smarter player. She could have done well in All-Stars if Lex and Kathy weren't totally out of their minds to keep Amber over Jerri, and her Heroes vs. Villains game was pretty good IMO. Actually as much as I love Sandra, I kind of wish Jerri won the last immunity so she could have had a chance to get the win herself. Her winning HvV and getting a hero edit like Sandra did would have been mind-blowingly awesome considering she was so hated during Australia and got booed off the stage at the All-Stars reunion despite trying to play nice that season.

OMG. A Parvati/Sandra/Jerri finale would have been AWESOME and probably my favorite F3 ever. Unfortunately, that almost never would've happened and if Jerri had won immunity, Parvati would likely have been booted instead. Clearly these chicks all wanted to take Russell to the end cuz then they're essentially only competing against one other girl.

P.S. A lot of Colby's challenge dominance in Australia was pretty overstated, much like Janelle's in BBAS. Colby in the second half of the game was going up against a bunch of malnourished women and middle-aged men, and even then most of the challenges he won were not even physical in nature. That's probably why there's such disparity between Colby's performances in Australia vs. ASS/HvV.

Re: Jerri and Tina. It's actually a Christmas miracle that Tina won Australia because she won 4-3, Jerri was the deciding vote and Tina still took multiple self-righteous jabs at Jerri during FTC including slamming Jerri during her own question. She REALLY lucked out that Jerri was bitter over Colby betraying their alliance that she wanted to vote against him in the end.

I disagree. The way I saw it was that Jerri's deciding factor was that Tina had so much influence over Colby that he threw away a million dollars just to show Tina his loyalty. That's deep and a sign of someone's strong social game.

What really bugs me about that season is that Amber had her chance to upend them: she could've banded with Nick, Rodger & Elisabeth to pick off Tina, Colby & Keith. So many missed (golden) opportunities in this game!!!

If I'm not mistaken Denise is now the oldest woman winner and also the only winner who went to (and obviously survived) every T.C for their respective season.

Although it wasn't shown on the show, Amber DID try to do exactly that after Jerri got voted out. Rodger said that he was receptive to the idea but it was Elisabeth who didn't want to go with the counter alliance because she was under Tina's "good people need to win" Christian coalition spell. The problem also was that players in the early seasons were following the precedent of Borneo - you got into an alliance, didn't waiver from it and rode it to the end because that's what the Tagi 4 did, and flip flopping from Tagi is a reason why Kelly Wiglesworth lost against Rich. It took until Marquesas and Amazon for strategy to evolve beyond that.

Personally I viewed Tina's handling of Jerri at FTC as a reason why I don't buy the rumor that she was some off-camera mastermind. Risking the chance of losing the deciding vote just for one more chance at a self-righteous insult is not what a good player does at the jury stage. Ethan did the same thing in Africa - pre-FTC he said in a confessional that he thought the jury would be divided by gender with Brandon being thehe swing vote. He then proceeded to insult Brandon in his own question and lose his vote in the process. He was just lucky that he had predicted Teresa and Kelly's votes incorrectly or else he would have LOST because of it.

I liked Denise and Malcolm. Good for her.

I'm just so glad Blair Witch didn't win.

Although it wasn't shown on the show, Amber DID try to do exactly that after Jerri got voted out.

Where did she say this? Post-season interview? No offense to her, I didn't think Amber was bright enough to think of blindsiding (during that season).

Just seen the spoilers about next season... well Thats disappointing

I think it is more like 99% save Jeff and Jordan who have been touched by virginity for eternity.

A few days ago, I saw Francesca grocery shopping with her mom in Kips Bay, Manhattan. She's tall. Just sharing. :)
