Russell is SUPER annoying. Hated him the first time around and hate him again now. I hope he's the next to go.
 
Pete, Malcolm and Carter. Pete and Malcolm are hot. Carter is very cute and has a great body too. Last night they had a good 10 second shot of Carter's package in his tight red shorts. I get some some gay vibes from Carter but not sure. Anyone know?

I hate to sound so naive but I think Lisa is just ignorant but not outright malicious. I don't think she hates gay people but she honestly seems to believe that homosexuality really is something that can be changed because "[she's] seen it happen" many times. That's the extent I've seen of her talking about the issue and that's not even a drop in the ocean compared to the things I've read about Jeff Kent.

If that's true, then that's a good sign that he's going to figure prominently this season.
 
Yeah, it's true. I was going to mention it, but spoilers and whatnot.

S26 is another Fans vs. Favorites. Returning men are Cochran, Phillip, Erik (Micronesia), Brandon Hantz and Malcolm; returning women are Corinne, Brenda, Dawn, Andrea and Francesca.
 
I think the girl cast is okay (except for Corinne). The guy cast is HIDEOUS. Possibly the worst ever.

don't know, but I was getting the same vibes!! We never really heard his voice once, he had no confessionals with the camera, so I guess we will wait and see
 
The stupid people are emerging early.

Russell's "I'm no leader, nobody is leader" approach to becoming leader was painful to watch.
"Blair's" cheerful smiles aren't doing much to hide the fact that she is still Blair. And she seems mentally weak and totally unprepared; on the show for all the wrong reasons.
Zane - simply dumb as a bag of hammers.

I don't remember that much else. Most of the time my eyes were too busy going up and down Malcolm's treasure trail. . .
 
Probst said on "The Talk" that this will be a great season. Not convinced based on the first ep. Whelchel was on the same show and said to stay tuned, sharing that her Christianity will be tested (hence spoiling that she wouldn't be the first one out). Good to see Skupin back; not so much for Penner and Russell (they're both annoying). I just hope that they actually play the game as opposed to last season where they let Kim have her way.

I'm not surprised. "The Facts of Life" repeats only ran for a year on Nick At Nite (2000-2001) and the likes of RC and Pete were probably too busy downloading from Napster. ;) Now if it was "Saved By The Bell", Lisa would've stood a better chance of being recognized.
 
I was pretty underwhelmed with the first episode... I will most likely continue to watch though... the only thing that stops me watching Survivor is having any of the Hantz' on it.

Russell Swan annoyed the shit out of me in this episode... I was annoyed with everything he said and did, so that will be fun to watch for an entire season >.>

Malcolm makes some good eye candy... I'll stick around for this season just to look at him :D
 
This show seems to delight in casting racists and homophobes and it just seems like...it's intentionally done to create drama. Which just skeevs me out. And Probst has said/done his fair share to add that problem.
 
That was clearly their intent by putting Dana (the blonde lesbian) and Jeff on the same tribe. And then in the episode itself all we got was Dana saying how cool Jeff is. Barf.

Like Dan Savage said just the other day about Mitt Romney (about whom they're trying to peddle the same "not malicious, has gay friends" BS)...it doesn't matter if you punched me in the nose because you hate me, or because you just want to impress the people that hate me, the end result is the same...I've got a goddamn broken nose.
