Survivor - Fans vs. Favorites

Yes and so is Sherri.

Really? I just don't see it with Sherri. They keep emphasizing how bad she is in challenges and Malcolm even told Corinne last week that it's "so awkward dealing with Sherri." Production seems to be painting her as someone unpopular, even though her own voice-overs reveal her as someone shrewd enough to continue in the Sandra/Sophie/Kim tradition.

In other words, I can see Sherri as a winner, but I don't see her getting a winner's edit.

Also, I know this is horrible but since she looks so much like Sandra Bullock, someone really needs to make a Blind Side poster with Sherri and Shamar.

Sucks did that one months ago:

OMG! LMAO! I swear to god I didn't know that, but I'm so glad others thought of it before me.

Sherri's got game/ She undestands the game, and even tho I dont think she's getting a winner edit, she could still be in the finals.

Even tho Philipp /andrea / malcom & cochran are covering too much screen time.

Did andrea had the same gameplay in her season ? coz i dont remember her as very startegic player

I agree. From what I remember from her she was just a pretty face who luckily got in the right alliance that took her almost to the end. I actually completely forgot (until I looked it up just now) that she made it as far as she did.

Andrea was strongly criticized by fans in her original season for being complacent and not realizing her position at the bottom of the Ometepe alliance until it was too late for her to do anything. I think she took a lot of the critiques to her game to heart and adjusted it accordingly this season. She's one of the more interesting people to watch this season because of that, I think.

Brenda's actually in the exact opposite situation where she was taken out in her first season for being too much of a threat in power, and now she's laying so low that she's nearly a non-factor to everyone else.

Same here. Andrea has been one of the pleasant surprises for me this season. Like Parvati or Daniele Donato on BB, I disliked her in her original season, but on her second-go-around she has completely won me over. My dream F3 at this point would be Brenda, Andrea and Cochran.

Corinne was better this time around too, but I still didn't love her enough to want her in the finals. I just wanted her to outlast Philip.

I disliked her in her original season,

I wouldn't go that far because Andrea beating three guys including Matt (whom EVERYONE thought was going to return) in the final RI duel literally had me cackling and fist pumping at the screen. She was the cockblocker who saved us from Matt possibly winning the entire game, which Sophie did to even greater effect next season when she mercifully saved us from Ozzy winning South Pacific.

Also while Corinne DID improve in this season, I can never fully embrace her for being a main antagonist/unpleasant thorn in the side of this force:

I thought pre-shuffle, Sherri was getting a WE with her handling of her alliance (they "obeyed" her). Post-merge, she appears poised to make some moves.

We'll see soon enough...

It's just too bad that these players don't recognize the danger of Survivorphiles like Cochran. I know Boston Rob would've targeted him.

YES! Gabon petered out in the last act with Bob winning (UGH) on behalf of Marcus' team (DOUBLE UGH) but for the first 90% of it, the season was AWESOME. Kenny's underdog alliance pulling out multiple TC victories, Crystal's awesomeness at challenge-sucking, Sugar faking out Randy at TC, and even Susie refuting all expectations by blindsiding the asshole alliance, winning two immunity challenges, and getting herself into the finals. How could such a bang end with such a whimper? (See also: Big Brother 6 & 7)

Well yeah, I mean Boston Rob's new gameplay is to target anyone who's not content to sit around and suck his balls until the jury hands him a million dollars.

Also, I think it says a lot that Philip mentions Boston Rob every five minutes while Andrea never does.

That's right, didnt see it that way.
Andrea's a good surprise for me too.

IF Sherri makes F3, who would vote for her? The fan guys hate her and the favs would obviously vote for one of their own. So she's the ideal player to drag along to the end.

They didn't have to listen to him just like other players didn't have to listen to (insert dominant) castaway.

Boston Rob would've taken out Cochran just like his wise dismissal of Rob C (the original Cochran) in All Star I.

It all depends on her upcoming moves as well as how she addresses the jury in the final TC.

Oh I completely agree. Don't get me wrong, Boston Rob played brilliantly and earned every penny of his million. I just got bored that season because no one even tried to put up a fight. That girl he took to the finals with him was about as useless a castaway I've ever seen on this show.

Just finished watching survivor and have to say that I am so excited how the voting went tonight. I was laughing so hard at how Phillip and his followers were blind sided. Loved it.

I agree with Cochran. That was one of the best tribal councils I have ever seen and one that lifted my heart and spirits.

They are doing way too many of those toss the ball challenges.

Dawn's breakdowns were touching in the beginning when she lost her t---- and then tedious as she continued to get the camera time with her water falls. Brenda, good on you girl.

Andrea's presence is way up front now.
