Was there a new episode?
It was a recap episode of the first 30 days. A few new scenes and they showed a little bit of the audition tapes of the final 8
I can't wait for the Corinne/Sugar argument next week

LOL. With Marcus, Charlie, Randy and possibly Corrine on the jury? Fat chance. It will be personal all the way.
NO ONE should wanna take Matty to the end. I like him, but for the others he's an easy winner and therefore a huge threat. He's not hated by anyone on the jury and if Randy (and possibly Corrine) are gonna be mad at Bob for his part in their humiliation, they'll easily vote for Matty. He has the best odds to win of anyone. He has no game which (with petty jury members) translates to "good game" because they can point to his skill in competitions and "justify" not voting for the people who outplayed them. I'd say Matty needs to go even before Bob quite frankly.
If Ken, Matty, Sugar or Susie wanna win this, they have one bitterness proof-absolutely-guaranteed-to-win option in dealing with petty jury members like these: every single one of them must take Crystal to the finals. She has not endeared herself with anyone on the jury -- in fact she's outright hated by some -- and is the one most of the jury will be voting against. In fact, unless Crystal is sitting in a F2 against Susie and can make a compelling and charismatic jury speech that she orchestrated more moves than Susie (and even then Susie can counter that she has performed better in competitions than Crystal and is far more likable), I honestly can't see any combination that would benefit Crystal, and any situation that would lead to her winning. She'll be hard pressed to get one vote other than Kenny's (if he's on the jury) and even his isn't guaranteed.
I'm operating under the assumption that this season they are reverting back to F2 as they did for Micronesia.
However, perception is all that matters in this game and the perception is that she is a bad competitor. Also, for whatever reason, she has not endeared herself to many of these people. I personally like her but her personality is abrasive in a way that I can see how it would turn some people off who aren't used to that (I'm not one of them. I like her just fine). And unfortunately (as we've discussed many times in the BB thread) getting people to like you and wanna vote for you to win is part of the game.
I would totally rank Crystal way above Matty in terms of gameplay. Hell I'd rank her second only to Kenny this season! My point was only that she probably cannot win this game based on her inability to woo people successfully to wanna vote for her in the end, and based on the perception that she is not a great competitor. My point is only that anyone who wants an easy win should probably take her to the end.
It would be awesome though if Crystal got to the end and was like, "Yeah so I'm an Olympic athlete and I was totally downplaying my skills in competitions so you guys wouldn't think I was someone you should target. Great strategy huh?" LOL. Whether it's true or not, it would be her best defense.
I'll give you Ozzy but I totally take issue with the idea that James was a great competitor. LOL. Talk about perception overriding reality. That's a myth that Probst perpetuated because he fits the big manly man role that Probst salivates (disgustingly) over every season but James sucked at challenges and won a total of ZERO Immunity challenges during two seasons.![]()
Yea you are right about perception being key. And likability is part of the game. But I'm not sure being nice and likeable is even possible sometimes. Look at Susie. what the hell as she done to be so hated and disrespected by many of the tribe members? She is prolly the most pleasant person there and many of them treat her like shit. I doubt there is little Crystal could have done to endear herself to these fools. Most of these people are snobs who looked down on anyone who wasnt like them. The only person who seems not to be petty and crazy is Marcus.
And I think I was James is a beneficiery of a different kind of perception. Thanks large to Probst he was perceived as a great player but he was overrated now that I think about it. That bastard Probst tricked me again.
I edited my post Laststraw21 to include more points and to clarify my position. I think I was editing it while you replied to me. Not that it will necessarily change your mind, but...just a heads up.
The Constant Tribe Swapping Bullshit Added Nothing To The Game.
Poorly
Maybe I Should Rephrase - What It Added Was Bullshit. How Can Any Of This Be Fair When - Instead Of Letting A Tribe Kill Itself Off - The Producers & Probst Had To Screw Around With The Game Because They Didn't Like The Direction It Was Taking?
I Still Think They Should Dump The Tribe Stuff And Start Out With Everyone Merged. They Can Pick Teams Each Time There Is A Competition And That Would Keep The Producers Out Of It And Force The Players To Expand Their Strategy.![]()
