Survivor Game Changers

After what JT pulled last week by telling the other tribe they were voting Ciera, I think he got his just desserts. I was furious that Michaela was even in the conversation. So many of these people hardly get dr screen time. Debbie went off the deep end with her crazy rant after she, herself, said she had great balance and proved otherwise. Was she that angry with herself and blaming someone else? She looked like a little tornado as she stormed down the beach. Best moments of the night. And that screech was priceless.

Though Ozzie hasn't had a lot of screen time I have always loved watching his athletic feats.

Sandra's queen business does get a little old, though she has lots of bragging rights.

What an incredible job sandra did !! She's one hell of a player ! 0 Votes !!!

And yet another JT Mistake with leaving the idol at the camp.
He could write a book "How to make dumb mistakes in survivor'

…After having won with his first try with a unanimous vote from the jury.

🙄

Really, that should be an indication that anybody can win Survivor if they have enough dumb luck and people willing to sacrifice their games for somebody based entirely on their southern boy aesthetic (i.e., the entire Timbira tribe except for Erinn). Because JT........ is dumb.

that was some impressive editing they did with that episode. I really thought Tai was going home with 2 idols. during tribal they made it sound like everyone was voting for him, especially after his confusing rant. but in the end they made the right choice.

Sandra is still the best of all time and I will hear nothing to the contrary. Thank you for bringing sunshine to my life for six episodes, queen. :')

Sandra is my No. 1.

Unless Survivor does an edition with a returning cast consisting only of people who have won, there will be no one else who was prevailed twice. That that distinction will remain held only by Sandra.

I think of this as a law of averages. I was thinking about what has played out so far, on Game Changers, and consider this: Sandra and Jeff had been to every Tribal Council. On the other hand, there is one person has not yet been to Tribal Council. That castaway is Cirie. (Someone can correct me if I am wrong.)

The players appear to be Andrea, Brad, Hali, Ozzie, Sarah, Sierra, Tai, Troyzan, and Zeke. Those who don't appear to be trying to move the game, or that they seem in a position to not be able to effect a change they may want, are Aubry, Cirie, Debbie, Jeff, and Michaela.

There remains 14 players. A lot can happen. That is likely. But, these first five episodes have seen six people finish between ranking Nos. 15 to 20. And the focus has been that five of those six originated with Mana tribe. It's like a Pagong-ing of that original tribe! Out are No. 20—Cierra; No. 19—Tony; No. 18—Caleb; No. 17—Malcolm; and No. 15—Sandra. The only member lost who originated with Nuku is No. 16—J.T. (This also means that all three, previous Survivor winners are out.) So, there remains five who had originated with Mana: Aubry, Hali, Jeff, Michaela, and Troyzan. And I think this game is bound to mix things up more to allow at least two of those remaining five managing to go plenty deeper. So, coming up, we should be seeing some of the remaining nine original Nukus exit: Andrea, Brad, Cirie, Debbie, Ozzie, Sarah, Sierra, Tai, and Zeke.

gonna miss Sandra for the rest of the season and yes Cirie still hasnt been to tribal council
Im happy because Im rooting for her too

I mean, in the grand scheme of Survivor goddesses, Cirie has to be top five, but we just lost Sandra Diaz-Twine so I can't help but feel like the rest of the season is going to downgrade.

Brad, Sierra, Troyzan, Sarah would make go far and I dont know I will hate it

What Varner did was awful but LOL at Probst pretending to be some kind of social justice warrior and rushing him offstage just to make sure Ozzy still didn't get the boot.

I thought it was a pretty intense tribal and what impressed me most was the way Varner got his come-uppance from everyone.
It was immediate and fiery hot and good on all of them. Varner expected a different reaction because he led with deception and that Zeke was being deceptive in not outting himself. It was mean spirited and just awful that it was a gay man who even let that out of his mouth. I thought Jeff did really well and let it play out and put his own thoughts by not calling for an official vote and just let them openly evict Varner.

I think it is a sign of how far LGBTQ people have come and that it can be a sensitive issue for many.

I mean, I had Zeke pegged as soon as I saw him without a shirt on at the start of last season. Even I feel kind of icky for bringing up the rumors in last season's thread now.

I kind of think a few of them still wanted to vote but felt pressured by Probst to get Varner out, like Sgt Pepper said, to keep Ozzie in. I think Ozzie may have been voted out. After what Varner pulled I'd want to take him to the end with me, I don't think anyone would vote for him

It wasn't logical for Varner to start off by blabbing about people turning on Ozzie. If he had just kept his mouth shut, let alone continue with the infamous "there's more" outing of Zeke, he might have had a chance with his original plan. That will probably go down as the new dumbest Survivor move of all time. Even dumber than Erik giving up his idol. . .

Erik’s move to give his immunity idol to Natalie at Final Five, in Micronesia: Fans vs. Favorites, remains the dumbest move in the history of Survivor. (Coming in second: J.T. giving an idol to Russell in Heroes vs. Villains.)

Jeff Varner violating Zeke, and using that as game-playing ammunition in Game Changers, is now the most uncomfortable moment to view in the history of Survivor. (It just overtook Brandon Hantz’s second outing with his showcase meltdown in Caramoan.)
