May I add that I forgot to mention I was pissed that Parv's lazy ass didn't even LOOK for the idol. I mean you should always plan for the unexpected.

This also makes me wonder if with Alexis, Erik and Jason on the Jury... is Nat a lock?

This one pretty much sums it all up.

OMG!!!! I need to go rewatch the promo but I'm pretty sure that the advertisement said the finale will have THREE tribal councils.... final two anyone? Not good news for Cirie.

I don't think the jury would give it to her though. There are too many narrow minded alpha males on that jury. Cirie will have an uphill battle.

I too considered that it may just mean the reunion show but my gut tells me there should be more producer induced twists this season than there were.

If it is final two and they learn before the final four vote Cirie and Nat will tie it up against Amanda if they learn after... well Cirie will have to win a challenge for once in her life.

It depends on the kind of endurance. Endurances usual favor some physical condition. If it was all heart maybe she could win but sometimes it just aint. Like Stephanie would've totally outlasted Dani but she just didn't have the inches. Danielle only one the final two challenge in her season because she was far lighter than Terry and Aras.

If they did something like switch up the tribes every four days, people couldnt make alliances because they dont know when they may be with any certain person.

They could re juvenate the series if they could stop alliances

No they ust need to get better players. The problem with alliances are that there are often people content sitting in 4th or 5th place. Players like the ones we had this season are not content with just allowing an inevitable outcome to happen thus they play harder and better than those of other seasons.

better players?

There were three blind sides (Ozzy, Jason, Amanda {she blind sided them}), and then there's poor Erik

That was some good game playing.

Better players? Yeah, I get what you mean. But good players need a target (who has to be a weaker player)
.

Nope the target is always the best player... that's why they're the target. I season with a group of 16 fully competent people who want it so bad they can taste it would be a helluva season.

FalconFan, just to go back to our earlier question, other fansites are pointing out that last season the promos also said "Three Tribal Councils left" when they were only at F4. So they do indeed count the Live Finale as a TC. And actually, I do recall this coming up last year as well.

I think you might be right. But that's so boring... kind of. I'm predicting a Nat win in the final four challenge.

And if she wins the next Immunity, is it possible Nat could win the whole thing? I mean aren't Jason, Erik and Alexis dumb enough to just go with old "Fan" loyalty and the fact that they know her best? Plus any nasty betrayals would be shared by the other women in the F3 as well so Natalie may not seem quite so nasty to them. All she would need is one other player (Eliza?) who mistakenly thinks that Nat was the stalwart tactician and brains behind the Jason and Erik ouster and she'd win. I mean Cirie may be too subtle for these people. Think about it: the jury saw Erik give NATALIE his necklace. They might think, "Damn! She did a good job of snowing him!" no matter what Cirie tells them.

I'd be annoyed if Natalie -- the least deserving of the F4 (and the least likable) -- ends up winning.

As usual you've read my mind. Like I said before I fear Cirie has been keeping a low enough profile that it might actual backfire. Not that if matters. If Nat wins Cirie will be on the jury because Amanda will beat her in a fire making challenge. Nat is totally goign to look great in the eyes of the jury. Even the editors try to make her look responsible for the Jason thing.

I think Jason is totally going to give her a vote no matter what as would Alexis. Erik may vote for Amanda. IDK but I think it's kinda probable that nat could win. Her and Amanda are pretty evenly matched and Parv and Cirie tend to be useless in comps Although there are random exceptions like Danielle coming out of nowhere to win the final immunity or Sondra almost winning the final immunity in cook island

Well it was an underwhelming finale for a great season but I can't say I blame the jury considering Amanda's amazing ability to completely implode under mild pressure. I mean really the girl can't answer questions worth of shit. She made herself out to be the least strategic player ever.

Hopefully Cirie will win the sprint money but I"m not holding my breath. It's probably going to Erik or some shit

oh btw I'm so glad I never liked Ozzy. He's such a little bitch

For the first time ever, the player I rooted for from the beginning won the game! I loved Parv because she played the game I would play...and she looks hot doing it.

I loved Nat's jury question to her and was hoping that she and Parvati were the unknown couple! :) That would be sexy.

This was really an amazing season and refreshed it all for me...I have hated most of the past 6 seasons and haven't even watched, but this one I tuned in for nearly every week...pretty incredible.

I'm glad the jury saw Ozzy as the child he is and awarded Parvati. How could anyone vote for Amanda? She really is not good with answering the jury at all. I figured whoever could get Eliza's vote would surely win the game.

I'm so excited that for once I have praised a player from the beginning and she won! Sorry to those who hate her and think she's a bitch but Parvati hands down deserved this and it couldn't have been a better finish than her winning...Although Cirie would have been great too. She had all the cards in her favor from the merge on...adapted to all changes flawlessly, and set herself up as the jury underdog and was able to take the million with perfect answers to the questions proposed to her. Amazing, love the girl...PARVATI!!!

Parv should thank Cirie for the million because it was completely the result of her question. She torpedoed Amanda big time with that question and Amanda just made it worse with her answer. Nat's question was fucking nuts.

Same complaint I've had the last few weeks: what whiny pouting bitches on the jury, especially Ozzy but through Erik even to Cirie...for fucks sake, people.

Amanda! She deserved to lose: 1) for taking Parvati with her instead of Cirie (none of the guys would've voted for Cirie, way too subtle for them), and 2) her opening statement and answers to questions (why didn't she mention her several immunity wins and her truly impressive fight for the hidden immunity idol on Exile Island, from requesting to go there to finding all the clues to finding it back at camp to playing it at tribal council). I'm so tired of her pouty face! And why did she look amazed and stunned when Jeff took the votes away with him? Had she never seen the show's final jury vote before? Oh wait, she'd been through it before! She and Ozzy deserve each other. And Parvati does deserve the million. I just wish Eliza had won the Sprint thou - what a gal! Great questions, great expressions, just a treat.

Final note: Erik, you kinda won my heart back - good explanation, I'm just a sweet dumb kid from a small town, I'm not used to playing people, I thought of them as my friends...ok, that's kind of undercut by his having been a fan of the show since he was 14! - still, he is a sweet, dumb puppy, like Jason only with a better excuse (younger). Jason! All you Jason haters - final word, ok dumb but HOT! Fantastic body, better than Ozzy's, cute smile, great hair, just totally yummy. As Ozzy said to Parvati, "I don't want to hear any words!"

I was disappointed that Cirie didn't make at least the final 2. There was mention about all the thoughts she put into people's heads that led to evictions.

Yes, Amanda did hand over the mil to Pavarti because she went about telling what a strategic player Parv was and thus took all the spotlight off of her accomplishments and shone them on Parv.

I knew it was Amanda's to lose but knowing her answers from China I feared for her this time.

I guess James has a lot of fans.

I like Ozzy.

Kinda wanted Cirie to win the million dollars. I think that Amanda would have lost even if she brought Cirie to the final two.

Erik is dumb. His explanations are dumb. I like how he admit that it was a dumb decision, but then goes on to explain further. It didn't make much sense.

And please let this be the last time we ever see Jonny Fairplay. Your 15 minutes are up.

Well, four things were confirmed for me during the Finale and Reunion:

1. Ozzy is an asshole

2. American voters have no idea what they're doing.

3. Amanda couldn't sell herself if the price-tag was 50cent and she GAVE YOU a dollar.

4. Erik really is that dumb.

Thanks Survivor, for clearing up any lingering doubts on those three. More later. Oh, and I love Chet for obviously harboring bitterness towards Probst always favoring the manly athletic guys (even when they're complete assholes -- Probst has done this every season so he's had this kind of backtalk coming for a LONG time) and for pointing out to the HOST of this series -- who has somehow not learned this simple fact in 16 seasons -- that Survivor is a game of social strategy, not brute strength. And in typical, clueless Probst fashion, he kept nodding along and smilingly agreeing, totally unaware that Chet was not COMPLIMENTING him for this hideous behavior.

What lingering doubts? I was well aware of those things for a while.... well maybe not the Amanda one. Bitch made the SAME mistake she did a year ago, tried to sell herself as a better human being. STOP DOING IT. Jurors dislike you both and by sitting there saying I"m a better person only makes you looks like a worse strategic player. I mean just shut up Amanda. SHUT UP. If anyone asks you questions in the future answer by miming because speaking just isn't your strong suit my dear.

It's entirely possible that Amanda does not have a lot of substance to her as well FalconFan. Eliza is an intelligent girl and what she revealed about Amanda (that she's superficial and prone to inane chatter ) immediately shifted my sympathies to Parvati. (For some reason i ended up really rooting for Parv at the end, once Cirie was eliminated. Fact is, Parvati DID play a better strategic game than Amanda). And Amanda didn't make it any better by telling Erik he was "unloyal." Ick. Beauty queen ditz for sure.

I also think it's great that James always looks stupid. First in China. Then this time when he voted for Jason and called him the stupidest Survivor, only to watch the Ozzy blindside happen instead. And then at the finale he said arrogantly that "Amanda had it in the bag." If nothing else, I wanted Parv to win after all the shit she's taken from James. I laughed my ass off when she won 5-3.

I too was rooting for Parv to take it home at the end. Amanda is kinda like Female Ozzy. She views the game in a almost completely physical sense (despite inadvertently being an amazing strategist) and makes it seem amoral to try and help yourself win

Eliza struggled because she's a girl who could appreciate gameplay and knew Parv did the better job but personally disliked her and I can respect that about her.

At the end of the day I think Cirie could've and would've won that jury or in the very least forced a tie. The reason I like final 2 is because I fell final 3 screws up gameplay in the second half of the game. Seeing as we didn't find out about it until that game had already been played well... it didn't really enhance anything but I can't be that mad at it because Parv did do a good job. It's a shame Cirie got nada but I think she'll long be known as the best player of the game and that's gotta be worth something.
