Survivor: Millennials vs. Gen X

I was rooting for Michaela too
I know she's sassy and fire and outspoken but still shocking :(

looking forward for the next season tho

Adam and Zeke are the Millenials who will have staying power. I think, for her all her nerves, also recognizing this will be Hannah. (Unless, of course, she has a meltdown and quits the game.)

Jay’s sucker-punch move against Mikaela reminded me kind of how it went down with Rupert in “Pearl Islands” (won by Sandra; Fall 2003). The Rupert move was good timing. (He went out into eighth place.) Jay struck too early. And all he has left are Will, Michelle, and Taylor. The only one less intelligent, game wise and for certain, is Taylor. So, this was a move to take out someone who had great potential, yes, but it also longtime killed both Jay’s and Will’s.

I really should stop saying who my favorites are. I'll try reverse psychology on the reality tv gods: GO JAY, WILL & TAYLOR!

Guys this boot is really devastating for me as a viewer. I know this may sound hyperbolic, but Michaela was one of my favorite casting choices on this show OF ALL TIME. Even in just the few episodes we saw her, she shot to the top of my list. It's so rare (depressingly rare) that reality tv shows cast this kind of person of color on the show. She had all the qualities of a winner (like Natalie Anderson) and even if she couldn't make it to the end, I assumed that the coverage she was getting guaranteed at least a post-merge showing. Here's the thing for me about women like Michaela: I KNOW women like this in real life. I LOVE women like this in real life. But it's so rare that I get to see those women on TV and now when I did, she's snuffed out way too early by a nothing dude in a move that makes zero sense. Like slip said, I feel like I'm watching Big Brother now which is just the worst.

I'm not going to say what I want to have happen next week, but I'm sure you can all guess.

The Millenials are all over the place. They are the wishiest washiest group I can ever remember. I don't have a clue as to who will win this fuckfest.

Three women remain: Gen X-ers Jessica and Sunday and Millenials' Hannah.

I am digging Hannah. Good entertainment from her. She struggled at her first tribal council, figuring who to vote for. (I liked her taking that time to piece together how the vote was going down.) She needed medical attention at a challenge at which she had sat out from participating.

That has me thinking that, if Jeff Probst wants to take off a season of hosting Survivor, let's have Hannah substitute-host so that she may need medical attention for getting overly excited while hosting a particularly too exciting reward or immunity challenge.

I like her. She is coming around. She is becoming a player. (Hannah reacted smartly after the shock of Jay and Will having backstabbed and blindsided Mikaela … and she will likely be part of a voting block to take out Jay and Will and Taylor just as she assisted in eliminating Michelle.)

If we get a Final Three, and at least one of them is a female, it would be cool if Hannah made it to the end.

OK so this has nothing to do with Survivor or any post in this thread but because America shit the bed this past week by rejecting a qualified woman over an asshole man (much like a lot of reality shows) I feel the need to retreat into 90's comfort nostalgia.

I'll see you Boyz II Men and raise you their "One Sweet Day" partner in crime.

This season is pretty fucking bad. And that's based on me going into it with low expectations. I guess I halfheartedly like Bret because he's a gay chubby dad, and Hannah because she brings the lols occasionally, and I guess I hate Jay for being an annoying scrunchy-faced gremlin who talks about things like "The Universe" and of course voting out Michaela. Everyone else is varying degrees of snore and yawn. Also, everyone on all of my Survivor hangouts universally praising Ken's hotness was the exact moment I stopped being attracted.

The mantastic Ken won immunity, luckily my fave Will is still in.

LOVING this season so much!! So will Adam or Jay be next??

I am still hating this Adam's advantage + that Legacy thing. I don't want that woman who has it to win. Ugly tattoos on her back.

Did anyone suspect what Brett told Zeke about himself. Took me totally by surprise.WHAT a cluster fuck these tribals are.

JESS got voted out!!! WOOHOO!!!

Bye Bye Legacy Advantage at least for her, now she willed it to Ken.

I don't care who would have heard me but I would totally have cried if Will had drawn the black rock.

LOVED ONES VISIT!!!!

Uhoh, will Adam use the Advantage!?

Stay Tuned...

Damn, I really hate drawing rocks. I get it, bla bla, they should make sure it doesn't come to that, but honestly, I wish that the drawing rocks thing had been between Hannah and Zeke.
Also, it's a shame that they censor pretty much everything, because I think we would have seen quite a bit of Will's butt otherwise in that Reward challenge :P

No one seems surprised that Brett revealed that he was gay to Zeke. Took me by surprise, maybe because I just don't like the guy, or Zeke for that matter.

Hannah and Adam are my favorites right now. Though Hannah is more than a little whacko.

I wasn't surprised because I knew Bret was gay from like episode one or so. He mentions it in one of his pre-game interviews.

Unlike the rumors of Zeke being a transman which Zeke has never publically addressed on the show or off.

Why don't I like Zeke? I was fine with him before but I found myself actively disliking him this week. Is it because he's opposed to the David/Ken/Hannah (and OK Adam) alliance which I'm rooting for? Yet he's playing well, he's LGBT, he was originally an underdog. I should like all these things. What's wrong with me slipintothefog?

Once again a rock draw disappoints me. First Katie on Blood v Water and now Jessica.

I don't like him either, but I don't like/care about most people on this season (I was watching this last episode on a 10 minute delay that actually increased to a half hour one because I kept losing interest and playing on my phone during the post-immunity scrambling before the Chris vote out).

Based on what we've seen of him so far I have no idea why they're bringing him back next season. The only interest I've ever had over him was a) him being my type physically and b) the "is he or isn't he trans?" thing. He isn't funny/witty and he doesn't do anything but drone on and on about strategy. Chiming in to attack David about his anxiety was kind of gross too. (That also lowered my opinion of Bret a bit when his drunk antics made for presence I've somewhat enjoyed.)

I was also surprised that Brett is gay. I don't particularly like Zeke either. Glad that there are still some good looking guys still on the show.

Damn, I really hate drawing rocks. I get it, bla bla, they should make sure it doesn't come to that, but honestly, I wish that the drawing rocks thing had been between Hannah and Zeke.

Yeah, I actually tweeted Probst asking if there is a uncensored Survivor Version ;)
