I'd forgotten about that gem. I'm generally leery of dictionary definitions because they can ignore (or, more ominously, be used to ignore) context and connotative meaning. It's easy to construct benign interpretations of phrases without reference to their varied history or resonance. And any sort of coded language relies upon ignoring connotation. "Law and order" takes on a different cast if Bull Connor is the chief of police.

Russell cant get all the credit. The other castaways are stupid for not seeing that he is clearly untrustworthy when marisa basically exposed at tribal that he is making these deals with everyone. I have a feeling. this is gonna be a disappointing season, where people like the lady cop, are gonna constantly talk about being suspicious of Russell but not say anything until it's too late.
