Oh, well I guess the winner will have to wait an entire 6 or 8 months to find out if they won or not.

hey Guys !! good to be back here with Survivor !!!
Ok so i really like the first episode, I think it is going to be an interesting season...
I dont really understand what's going to be the leader's role. ARe they gonna be important later on ?
Well Okey I love Russel, he's a vilain, he's bad, but he's good player and I like this strategy
Ben is the new douche, and Erik the new hottie
When mick was picking the best swimmer, the strongest, the most agile and the smartest, I was like OK Foa foa is gonna win this challenge obviously !!
Shannon seems pretty funny and I m in love with Kelly
For the moment the two challenges are better than the previous ones
So far
my favs : Shannon, Russell, Kelly, Erik, john
But IMO Foa Foa is going to lead this game

I thought it was pretty obvious that Brett is it? Or am I the only one who noticed it? He practically got no screen time, and when he did, my gay-dar went ping ping ping! Or was I the only one? Sigh... Time for me to send it out for tuning again...
It's still too soon in the season yet for me to know whether it'll be good. I was kind of looking forward to a "Ozzy" character but I guess people like him comes only once in... like 12 seasons or so... Darn them for getting rid of him so early on on All-Stars.

What a relief! Cos it used to go wee-yo, wee-yo as opposed to the high pitched PING PING PING that it does now. I thought for sure I won't be able to survive without a functioning gaydar!
I mean the dude's too well-groomed and smiles a certain way... but then again, it might just be my wishful thinking. He's totally the type I'd go for in real life- quite, sweet.

Liberace, Richard Simmons, Ted Haggard vehemently insisted that they were straight too... I'm just saying...
I did a quick search on google, most (if not all) of the boards discussing about Survivor has someone who thinks he is a closet gay. And I kind of think that the producers know about it too, and casted him because of it. I mean... come on, a T-shirt designer?
But that's not important, what matters more is that he makes sure to be shirtless more often in future episodes
Normally I enjoy watching the "villains" cause friction in hopes that they would stay longer and get their comeuppance right at the end, but it would have been awesome to see Russel get kicked in the first episode. His main purpose is to come on the show, be outrages and gain notoriety. If he was kicked off first he just would have been labelled an asshole and then people would forget about him, which i imagine would piss him off a lot more than getting voted out right at the end.
I'm sure he wants to win but i think he'd still feel satisfied if he at caused a lot of drama before getting kicked. If he was voted out without the chance to do any of that he would probably feel like a total ass and that the experience was a waste of time, which i believe would be the best punishment
I think you'd have to be pretty naive to not sense that he is a snake. Although the editing suggests otherwise, I'm pretty sure most of the other castmates can see right through him. He isn't subtle at all.

^^I don't know. I think a lot (maybe most) people can be fooled by what they perceive as good and evil. If it is true that Russell came on the show just to cause havoc and notoriety he has already accomplished that. I know Probst has said that he is pure evil and Survivor, like BB and other reality shows, survives on evil doers. But for evil to have a place there also has to be good and I hope that we see some good emerging soon on the show.

I hope you are right but it just seems like this season (save the few standout douchebags) is full of mostly cowardly, play-it-safe types who are scared to do anything that might draw attention to them. Plus I get the feeling that, like in Big Brother, producers sort of manipulate players to keep certain big characters in the game.
By the way I forgot to say that I think Russell is not going to make it to far in the game
he's going to play dumb and I do not believe his tribe will be blind

I must say that this my 1st time watching Suvivor.
Now with that out of the way. I think this Russel guy is not going to make it that far. He's trying to make alliances with mutiple people and I feel that will bite him in the ass later on in the game. not only that but that one lady was a little suspisious of him so I think she will be the 1st to really catch on to Russel.
