some people love em - some hate em

that's not why i am posting this thread

i am thinking of getting one

have thought about it for a while now - gonna do it

thinking something simple - perhaps a shamrock - not too big

the question is where to put it

have gotten a few suggestions like :

back - upper back on one of the sides
ankle
calf
upper arm area above the bicep/tricep area
hip - side of body
front torso - below the belly button to the side - above the jewels

leaning towards arm or leg

would love any thoughts u have - if u have one - what u think etc.

thanks

I never have and never will - but I can give this advice based on people that I know who have them - look at your life forward in 10 year intervals. Then decide if the tattoo will be appropriate at that stage of your life. Also depending on where you get it - will that have an affect on what you have to wear to work. One guy at my office wears long sleeve shirts every day of the year - he is tattoed from his neck to his ankles, which is NOT appropriate for our office environment. Just my thoughts.

Why not on your left buttock???

Like just below the waistline -- so you can kind of pull it down and SHOW IT OFF!!!

I met a guy on a business trip in Indiana one time that had a small butterfly on his ass...

I don't remember the guy that well -- but I thought the tattoo was SO COOL!!!

:):):)

Why do some people think a tattoo is an improvement over the way God made them?

Even if you are a fan of the band, don't get this sign unless you know what it stands for in the "gay community":

An acquaintance of mine (far younger than me) just got one. The tattoo in question.

I said nothing last Saturday upon seeing it, but a fellow bar patron did (who, BTW, has said tattoo and IS aware of the 'meaning').

The conversation ended in tears.

I have no idea of the outcome.

LESSON: THINK ABOUT YOUR INK!!!!!!

While they edon't work for everyone, tatts can be great. I have three myself and they're my viggest turn on if done right.

A butterfly on his ass..give me a cookie.

You cant hang around the fellas with a butterfly on your ass..

Some peoples kids..

HEY!!! :grrr:

It was a small (half dollar to silver dollar sized) tattoo -- and it was cute!!!

PLUS -- the sliding of your thumb under your pants and pulling it down to show off the "tattoo" is HOT!!!

:D:D:D

I just got this one a couple of weeks ago...

... I do have another on my upper arm, but I can't seem to find a pic of it. It's shite anyway, too small.

that one is the only one I have hosted elsewhere, (namely MySpace).

And it's kinda hard to see for the photoshop, but it says 'Unapologetically Alive'.

Bonus points for the first person who doesn't need to Google that to find out where it's from.
:)

I just think body graffiti never looks good. You're better off without it IMO.

Logan McCreeis so hot. I won't mind get tattoos over all my body. I like tattoos, I want to get one or several but I'm not sure about the design. I want it to mean something about me, my life, my mind. A tattoo is not a shirt that if you don't like it you just take of and get another one. I advise you don't do it only for aesthetic.

Do you have any at all?

Honestly, after your first one you'll be hooked. It's a very addictive feeling, haha! I mean, it could be different for some people, but that's the general consensus I've experienced.

^I know, but I don't want get a tatto meaningless because I know that I will get bored of it. I don't want to make it only by fashion, because when I'll get older it won't be already cool.

I love tat's, when done well. And if we're gonna show Logan, we might as well show the best part. HOT!
