Taylor Swift may not have broken any Grammy Awards records with her trophy haul on Sunday night, but she did manage to break an actual Grammy. Price for replacement prize: $500. Look on Taylor's face as it tumbles: Priceless.

Wow. Manufactured? You can say a lot about Taylor, but this Lady GaGa is more manufactured if anything. If any of you know a damn thing about Taylor's career and how it began, you'd know why that statement is untrue and damn right moronic.
And REALLY? GaGa album of the year? All of the tracks sound the same, just as people say Taylor's do. And Lady GaGa is art? Try attention-seeker. A.K.A. Madonna wannabe with terrible fashion sense.
And Beyonce deserving of Album of the Year is another joke. That album is atrocious. None of these three deserved it. But ONE of them had to win it. And Number One singles are irrelevant to the Grammy's.

I hate it when these country stars start off with something that's "ACTUALLY COUNTRY" and than make their next album or single teen pop and still call it country. Except of course hannah montana/miley has her bipolar excuse from switching genres :/

But seriously enough of this bitch. So damn song of her on the radio and in media. And her own fucking GH video game. My god she has like 5 songs on that game. She really isn't that great. But like someone pointed out she has sold so many albums here little cutsey "Oh I'm so cute, young, and full of botox" thing apparently works and won.

I like some country but am not a big time fan...however Faith Hill is a more genuine country performer than Taylor who's at best a perky,fairly good country-pop star,emphasis by FAR on the pop.For a real young,brilliant performer equally adept at country or pop,who deserves to be recognized for her country contributions....no one could outshine Brenda Lee.In her teens she was singing what would become standards that would stand the test of time.That was a voice and presence!..|

I can picture people dismissing her when she first broke onto the scene. I mean, she was 15, for crying out loud, and singing songs of unrequited love. But hit followed hit, all varied and interesting enough to make her seem more and more like the professional she was. I rarely specifically dig up Brenda Lee to listen to, but she's always welcome when she pops up.

The head of Taylor Swift's record label is fired up and defending his superstar against critical comments about her Grammy-night performance.

"She is the voice of this generation. She speaks directly to (her fans), and they speak directly back to her," said Big Machine Records CEO Scott Borchetta in a phone interview. "This is not 'American Idol.' This is not a competition of getting up and seeing who can sing the highest note. This is about a true artist and writer and communicator. It's not about that technically perfect performance."

I hate to use the cliche "over-rated" but that's how I feel about Taylor Swift. She's a cute girl, seems like a sweet person, but I don't hear much singing talent. Her music is more pop that country. Not sure why she is racking up all of these awards.

The first time I saw her with straight hair was in a paparazzi pic a couple months ago, and I didn't recognize her until they said it was her.

Borchetta needs to tell it like it is. She put on a bad performance, don't defend it. The Grammies are for the best of the best. Having a technically competent performance is a requirement, especially for someone as lauded as Taylor.

Oh my god that fucking cunt. First off why does she looks so freaky evil kind of. And also I can't believe how fake she sounds. She won 3 fucking grammy's and than the fourth and final one she acts like she was surprised. And than she fucking drops and breaks one of her grammys.

But christ I can't believe that the manager called her "The voice of this generation". Hell no. I just can't believe how fucking fake she sounds for her acceptance speech and she needs to just say, "Thank you" and get off the stage. Also I don't know if anyone else noticed but why is her mouth so stretched. I kinda noticed that after watching her accept it a few times. I mean DAMN! Bitch got a huge mouth.

I think that people dont like her so much is, because she is a pop/country mix. I am not a big fan of country music but her album really was amazing. Im speaking only for myself but i love her. And she is incredibly talented.

Kelly Clarkson Fires Back At Taylor Swift

Kelly Clarkson posted a blog entry on Thursday (Feb. 4) in response to Big Machine Records CEO Scott Borchetta, who defended his artist Taylor Swift's off-key performance at Sunday's Grammy Awards by taking a swipe at singers who never miss a note.

"I understand defending your artist obviously because I have done the same in the past for artists I like, including Taylor, so you might see why its upsetting to read you attacking 'American Idol' for producing simply vocalists that hit 'the high notes,'" Clarkson wrote. "Thank you for that 'Captain Obvious' sense of humor because you know what, we not only hit the high notes, you forgot to mention we generally hit the 'right' notes as well."

"Every artist has a bad performance or two and that is understandable, but throwing blame will not make the situation at hand any better," the "My Life Would Suck Without You" singer continued. "I have been criticized left and right for having shaky performances before (and they were shaky) and what my manager or label executives say to me and the public is 'I'll kick butt next time' or 'every performance isn't going to be perfect' ...I bring this up because you should take a lesson from these people and instead of lashing out at other artists (that in your 'humble' opinion lack true artistry), you should simply take a breath and realize that sometimes things won't go according to plan or work out and that's okay."
