The ugly truth is that "Andreus" logged in, either as a ghost or as a sockpuppet.

Or that someone who knew the password (ie someone who was familiar with him and heard he was being talked about lately) or hacked it logged on it ...

As soon as I saw that the activity date had changed I raised the question at Mod Towers. Until a tech person answers, I'm as bewildered as anyone.

I'd love to find out it does represent a log-in because that would mean that tallguy297 is still lurking about. He seemed like a decent sort and stopped posting before his time.

Because, to take another example, even when people use a screen name like "soilwork" they are 100% likely to tell you their real name because everyone is just as open as Jasun. If they don't then obviously fake.

I don't think anyone meant it seriously-- however if you gave your 'real life name' and we could find absolutely no record of you ever existing in the country, yeah, I'd be suspicious of you.

Oh no no, he brought those names up randomly and said "I doubt those are their real names", in reference to Johann not being able to verify that anyone named Andreus Thanos actually existed.

The difference is, Boston Pirate apparently confirmed that he knew Andreus offline, was his teacher and his landlord. And verified his identity. So if he verified his real-life name and that real-life name appears to have never existed in the United States, ... that's where the thread is at.

My full name is on the site somewhere, and my real first name is my username I am posting under today. I know that most are not truly serious that I am the puppeteer behind Andreus but with the way this thread has been going I would not put it past at least one or two people who considered it momentarily.

Even I kept coming in to deny my involvement and erased every post because all my excuses were flimsy and could not be proven.

It's cool I've been accused of being Giancarlo like 3 times but I could give a hoot because any admin who can look at IP's could confirm that only this account logs in from only this IP.

I didn't know Jasun's last name and I found him in three minutes. He's hardly difficult to track down.

Jasun is a bad example because he wants you guys know him in real life. His career depends on it.

But the converse of that is that sometimes real people don't want you to know their names in real life. They either remain anonymously behind their username, or they use a pseudonym if pressed. That does not make them a fake or a sock puppet.

Without the right permissions to access the database, you really can't get that information, even as a mod. It requires higher level clearance.

If I recall correctly, stacy used to have her own board, so she can also vouch for this, whilst we're in the business of vouching for stuff

No, he doesn't have a pad in Denver (so far as I know). To the best of my knowledge, he's only been to Denver briefly for a conference. Either you're tracking a different JUBber, or you're on the wrong path. Or, I guess, you've stumbled across a rather bizarre piece of info about him.

And yes, JohannBessler is now getting a bit carried away with all of this and is accusing JUBbers left right and centre and imagining grand conspiracies in his head with no doubt hundreds of fake JUBbers.

The fact that Stacy has been in person to a JUB meet, and that Jasun is as real a person as you can possibly get (YouTube, his own website, his credit on porn vids) doesn't seem to matter.

He's like the JUB version of McCarthy.
