Tell me more about Andreus

You could say lots of things about him, but he was not joyless or humorless. He could be very playful and [STRIKE]childlike[/STRIKE] childish.
It was not unusual for him to say really terrible things to you in a public forum, then send a PM trying to make peace.
I never trusted the latter, so I didn't buy into that, but I doubt he wanted to live in the animosity that he often created.
I highly doubt there are many here who believed he was a fraud who didn't also share a laugh about something with him.

As for slagging someone off and then trying to make up in private, abusive borderline personalities all do it.

They are so afraid of real rejection that they are always crying for forgiveness...just so that they can return and get away with the same shit again.

I guess for the most part I found his pronouncements and perspectives solemn rather than serious and didn't have the opportunity to experience the whimsical side of him that others did.

But I guess if he posted about poo.. then we are all still tight.

Don't you remember how he and Kahil went from thread to thread with their love poetry to each other. They found it hilarious, but it annoyed alot of people. Unfortunately, Kahil never realized he was being toyed with.

The key to dealing with Andreus was not to take him too seriously. He took himself seriously enough for everyone.

To be clear, Dreu was not a joyless poster. He often spontaneously posted song lyrics, or would begin a thread or comment about something off-color like poo.

Yes.

I recall several threads which were rendered useless by his and Elvin's continual doing of such and attempting to playfully 1-up each other to the point of my extreme irritation. If I saw either of them had last post, I'd usually not bother opening the thread.

I believe this to be true. The predator always goes for the most vulnerable. For those who were unaccustomed to male affection or attention, they found his charm to be irresistible. For those of us who were stronger, he saw as more threatening.

I was never left any nasty comments until I had a go at him and it was because he expected people to not judge Muslims but on the other hand would criticize and insult Christianity/Catholicism. After that is when it was a totally different light.

Ah, yes, the sacred cow of Islam. Anything could be said about any other religion, but don't touch Islam.
Andreus told me felt he needed to aggressively defend Islam because he was being watched here and his life could be in danger.

I agree too. When the Thread started, having lived thro the whole of the Andreus saga and the angry Threads it produced from time to time, I thought it was wrong to stir up what we all thought had been laid to rest. However I think in the end it has been very useful in finally laying the whole saga to rest and the facts of the case have been fully discussed in the open for once. One point still niggles with me is why BostonPilot,who as far as I know never mentioned Andreus before. within minutes of HoodedRat posting that Andreus was a fake, dived in on the attack ?
